Main rig: On my desk so I can quickly access it if something goes wrong (hence why I used to fold under iffyrigs)

Ultimate rig: floor as it has no vents on the underside and 2 unpopulated vents on the front

1995 DOS rig: On the floor as its only got the single front vent and the PSU extracting air.

Desk. Mostly so that the many animals we have in our house can't decide that they might like to use it as a toilet. Which has happened to me in the past, thankfully only to one of the PCs in my junk pile

My desk is small, there would be no room on top.  There is a slot in the desk for a desktop to go in but I guess ATX Mid Towers are too large, therefore, it goes on the floor.  It isn't much of a beauty anyways (200R).

I used to first have mine on the floor. But then I made a refresh of my pc with new parts and a custom loop... So now I'm vain and keep it on my desk as a display piece/art . Also It's helped a lot with keeping dust under control & making sure mice do not attempt any foolishness against the beauty.

my desk is too small for my PC, my PC is on a plastic lid on the floor so that the power supply doesn't suffocate...

My current PC is a laptop, so it kind of has to be on the desk.

Between my triple monitors and my TV my girlfriend told me having my computer up on the desk made it "too cluttered"

 

Thus my PC is on the sheet of tiles on the floor.

Used to be floor, but got dusty very quickly. Temps went down and I can show off my computer if it's on my desk.

Having a GIGANTIC wooden desk from an antique shop does have its benefits. Despite it weighing like 300 lbs. (the desk....on its own, without the drawers in it.)

I chose desk, but i have my pc on a night stand right next to my desk. I dont like to keep it on the floor because of dust, and also because i like looking at it

Mine is on the floor. Wanted to put in on my desk but as my desk is actually tempered glass and the PC is REALLY heavy so kind of chicken out to place it on my desk.
