Best Idea EVER for VR

Trik'Stari

Best idea ever.

If your like me, then you love fantasizing about building computers, I spend a lot of time on online looking at cases, looking at parts, fans, WC loop parts, etc., and I can only wish that I had the money to just tinker around a build to my hearts content.

Then I had an idea, a VR program for something like oculus, that contains all known popular computer parts, which would allow you to build just about any system you want in VR space. Just for the fun of building a badass looking computer. Would also be good for people to get a feel for a case before they bought it.

I'd rather have an ability to look at "explosion schematics" of particular components.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

Lol that would be hilarious. Or just have a TV in the background in the game playing all WAN show's ever.

What like an exploded view? That could be apart of it.

I really like this idea. This shouldn't be limited to computers though. There should be something like the tech Tony Stark uses when he's tinkering with his gadgets. VR version of that would be really nice. You know you can take apart hardware and inspect every part of it before buying etc. :)

Yeah, and not only the components itself but even individual chips. And with that fancy "wave your hands around to rotate" mechanics.

Any unknown button should be pressed even number of times.

That's basically what I'm suggesting. A VR "showroom"

BMW did something like this a few years back. They built glasses that point to screws and parts for their mechanics. They just enter the model of the BMW and what they want to take apart and it simulates it for them. VR has many uses, the one I hope goes the furthest is education purposes. :)

This could be used to teach school children to build a PC, and hopefully make the console race even more obsolete than it is MWAHAHAHAHA

It can be used to treat psychological problems too. Such an amazing tech really...

Seriously though, this would be fun.

It could simulate so many things and situations, the possibilities are endless. Perfect for learning.

It's going to move things along in medicine. It can simulate certain situations that trigger psychological problems for individuals and help with diagnosing them faster. If we can perfect the hand sensors maybe even a proper surgeon simulator (not the Steam game LOL xD). Also therapy would go much easier. :)

Oh god yes. I could finally shoot an mg-42 and a ppsh-41 and all the other guns I wish I had the money to own.

I sure hope they put a destruction mechanic in it.

That's for potato/console builder 2014.

Anyone who has a sister hates the fact that his sister isn't Kasugano Sora.
Anyone who does not have a sister hates the fact that Kasugano Sora isn't his sister.
I'm not insulting anyone; I'm just being condescending. There is a difference, you see...
