How do you take the stand off the VG248QE?

I'm trying to figure out how to take the stand off of the Asus VG248QE but it just doesn't seem do-able. Can you do this?

Aren't there 4 giant screws on the back? I haven't looked at the back of mine in a long time but I remember there being screws or something xD

Those circles in each corner are protectors covering the screws lol. Get a flathead or something and they will come off easy.
