Downgrading from 4790k

Buckley

Guys I have no use for my i7 or even an i5.I have until tomorrow to return my i7 to get a refund. Should I grab the unlocked Pentium? I really just use my PC for web browsing.

I have no issue down the road re-buying an i5/7.

So Pentium or i3

Why not just keep your current rig? (If that's what you have in your signature)

I don't think I've updated my Sig, Im on Z97 now if it still says AMD

I simply don't need it? It was a waste of $300?

As for pentium K vs i3 argument, the i3 is faster at stock and has two more threads, but the pentium K is unlocked and the i3 isn't.

Pentium all the way. Overclocked performance is more important than stock performance.
