New Gaming Monitor

I will be building a new gaming computer some time next month (4770K, 780/770) and an currently looking at a new monitor as an upgrade from my cheapo 18.5" 1366x768 monitor. I was looking through the sales on NCIX when this monitor caught my eye: http://bit.ly/18AsyG9 and I was wondering if it would be a good decision. It looked great right away, but if you look at real pictures of it the bezel is actually not that narrow. I haven't seen any reviews of it, so I figured I'd ask the forum. So, what's your opinion on the value of this monitor?

Seems like a good monitor. The thickness shoudn't be an issue unless you're either tight for space or don't like occassionally lifting moderately heavy things.

It's your basic typical descent monitor, It has a slightly thinner frame than many monitors (by a few mm less, just to say 'thinner bezel'). However, as you saw on pictures, it's really like a monitor like this:

But they put a glass in front of it, so that in pictures, it looks really thin, but the borders are the same (minus a few mm to say it's thinner) in reality.

If you want a true thin border monitors, those are the one to get:

However, those are very pricey. (you need to call for a price quote).

There is an overview for its bigger brother (27ea63v-p) on Newegg. Similar design, just a little bit bigger.

The thin bezel is only good if you are using more than one screen tbh.

I used a 24" screen for ages and upgraded to a 30" 1600p monitor (Korean) and have never looked back. Would never consider using a smaller screen.

I had a 4GB 680 and got about 40fps average at ultra or something like that

x2 7950's would be fine!

But frame rating. It would be brutal.
