1 Million Subscribers - Thank you all! And a giveaway!

I think I first found Linus Tech Tips when I was looking into building myself a gaming rig over a year ago. I still have yet to be able to buy the parts to build a gaming rig but I found many great youtube channels through my research and LTT is by far my favorite. I have learned a ton about technology from you guys and it has increased my interest and love of technology even more than it was before.

I first ran across Linus Tech Tips searching for reviews on a particular piece of computer equipment. I can not remember what it was. I enjoy building and repairing computers just for the fun. I overclock just because I can. I use my computers in overclock mode only for games and any intense CPU/GPU applications. I pick components based upon the best for my needs and budget at the time. I will often spend days to weeks picking just the right component. A new case might take weeks with numerous reviews and web sights visited. Linus tips are always helpful and often entertaining. I just finished repairing a motherboard for the first time. Now I have and excuse to build another computer!!!

How about some info on mSSD drives and the advantages/disavatages vs SSD's. On board Wi-Fi on Asus boards vs their own PCIe standalone Wi-Fi boards.

The funny thing is, that not that long ago, i had she shittiest like piece of poo laptop from Compaq, and beat the living crap out of it by trying to play stuff like skyrim on a laptop with a 1st gen i3 with on board graphics. when that started to fail, i decided to wallet up, and get a gaming laptop (pls no hate), and actually got the series 7 gamer from Samsung, based on Linus's positive review. Its sort of spiraled out of control now, considering i spent a lot of the the summer 2 years ago, basically building a pc based on recommendations from you (also plasti dipped it after your video xD)...

so all in all, you guys are probably one of the reasons im the tech head that i am now...

I found LTT via his YT channel, about 2.5 years ago. I would watch his videos as much as i could and now i follow them as and when they come out.I think i saw some NCIX vids back in the day but i was too young to give a crap at the time. I became a tech enthusiast later in life and linus and the team have helped me a lot along the way. After incessant reminders to join the forums, I finally popped in, and after reading through it for a few months i finally joined. :P I still read and don't post, might be changing that soon as i plan to get a new rig.  I'd love to see some more high end audio product reviews, as its one of the few things that i lust after but is firmly out of my reach for the next few years. (yeah i watch some reviews as tech porn, not because im contemplating on buying it :P )   My favorite series is ASAP, for the quick info bytes and ease of reference if i need it later, with build guides coming in second.   My favorite food is lady fingers, with just a little oil and a lot of masala. Favorite book atm is a feast for crows......current favorite series would be da vinci's demons / orange is the new black, current favorite anime are tokyo ghoul, aoi no bungaku, manga are berserk/ lone wolf&cub. Music is Steven Wilson/hello kavita. Upcoming games......binding of isaac rebirth and soundself.

I really appreciate what you do and LTT is a part of my life now, and i hope you keep at it for the foreseeable future (and pass the torch onto your
protegee someday).

hope you read this. Peace.

Congratulations Linus. I remeber stumbling upon one of your build guides and going on to watch LinusTechTips videos for another 3 hours. That earned my subscription and I have watched almost every video since.

Linus Tech tips has been one of my favorite youtube channel since many years. I would like to see more honest reviews about the products you have and many more pc gaming builds. Thanks a lot your have been a great teacher who inspire me to learn more about the new computer tech around even if I don’t own any of them. I’ll be happy if I win any of those giveaways or any electronics junk you may have I will be thankful. So instead of throwing it to the trash send it to me! And keep up with the great work guys!

This is amazing guys. I am truly happy that you have reached 1 million subs! I had actually forgotten about the giveaway because the first thing I did after your 1 million thank you video got uploaded I wrote a pretty long congratulations post and since I get distracted SOOOOO easily I forgot about it until I got reminded of it when I watched the Note 4 coverage xP But I just want you guys to know that I really love you guys. I found out about you for about 2-3 years ago and have watched you since, and especially remember your old wacky intro xD But I think you guys should know this. And no, this is not a lie! I think you can check it on YouTube, but out of my 173 subscribed channels, you guys are the only one I watch every video from! And that's insane! I have my routine, every day I get home from school and go on YouTube and scroll down 2-3 pages to load all the vids I haven't seen, and then go upwards it watching whatever vide I feel like would be entertaining. And whenever I see you guy's signature thumbnails I always get a bit happy. You guys have probably some of the best videos on youtube and you deserve every single subscriber!
