Include whatever you want in the post - how you found Linus Tech Tips, your favourite series or style of video on Linus Tech Tips, what product you would like to see us review in the future, heck, we'll even take a post about your favourite food. Creativity is always welcome :)

This contest will run from 9/10/2014 until 9/19/2014 at 4:30pm PDT. Winners will be drawn live on The WAN Show using a random number generator.

The Surface Pro and the custom system will be given to the first two posts that are selected in the draw, the G550J will go to a random member that we feel embodies the attitude of the linustechtips.com community (who has posted in this thread ^_^).

Winners will be contacted through the forum and will have 3 days to reply to claim the prize before we re-draw!

I love Linus' build guides. They are what encouraged me to build my own computer in the first place, and what got me watching his videos. Way to go, LinusMediaGroup! Congradulations!

Linustechtips got me into computers and taught me everything I needed to know to build my first one.  I can't thank you enough for everything you have done to help me in my tech journey.  I am now starting up my own videography business and have my amazing computer to help me with editing, and I owe that to you guys!  Thank you a ton!

The gaming rig looks awesome and I would be stoked to have that!

 

I found Linus Tech tips by randomly looking for some help videos on youtube and I instantly subscribed due to the awesome content.  I really enjoy new tech reviews so I can stay up with the most recent technologies.

After lurking for a while (on Linus's youtube page) I've decided to become a member of the Linus community, partially for this giveaway and partially because I've decided to start giving back to Linus and his community for all the time he's spent making videos for both my enjoyment and education. I can't believe how far Linus has come from working as an NCIX employee and alongside Esther and switching from both the NCIX channel and Linus's in order to see the vast amount of content he put out every day of the week. I hope there are many more years of Linus tech tips and friends to come and many more millions of subscribers for the channel.

I found your channel some time last year. I don't remember what I was doing or what I was looking for. Whatever I first watched probably came up in the "related videos" section on YouTube. Regardless of what it was, I think it's awesome that your channels and business have grown so much. Here's to the next million subs!

:lol:  I remember the first video i saw of you. i was super hyped for the Nvidia shield. but nostalgia, you know. well anyways thanks for teaching me so much about everything you guys have done. from RAM to graphics card and the poopy R7 240 card you reviewed, (which you ate alive). but anyways I digress. thanks for everything Linus!!!!

when i fist saw linus it was in an austin evens video(kinda of an awkward video though) and i thought linustechtips was going to be dumb but i was wrong

Found Linus through ncix's videos when I was oogling tech back in the day.  Loved his personality and expertise and stuck around ever since.  The noir short film about laptop coolers is one of my all time favorite tech video.  Margherita pizza is nice too. I would love to see some videos on the importance and impact on certain tech.  Touch screen with notebooks for example.  Maybe some tech protection like laptop bags and phone cases.  Keep up the good work.

So I discovered Linus' channel while looking on info to build a new system. I hadn't built a computer since the very early 90's; my last build was a 486/33 with a whopping 4MB of RAM!!!

 

Your videos gave me the confidence to spec and start building my own computer. It's not super powerful and doesnt run Arma* the way I'd like it to but its mine and I did it thanks to you.

 

 

*actually I am not sure there is a computer short of Skynet capable of running Arma III/DayZ on ultra settings :) I think even Agent Smith would stumble a bit running through Cherno on a busy day.

Keep MAKING MOAR VIDEOS!, I found LinusTechTips when I was searching for computers builds and graphic cards reviews months ago, which helped me built my first PC! THANK YOU LINUS and your OP GROUP! and CONGRATS ON 1 MILLION SUBSCRIBERS! :D
