They're bass heavy, for music they're probably fine.

Even as a Razer user, don't go for there audio solution.s Nobody needs all da bass. Get a pair of cans if you can.

My budget is around the £40-£50 range ($80)

Just an average guy with a dream that one day he will own a custom watercooling loop.

I'd take a look at the Klipsch Image S4i's, Sennheiser Precision's and if you can spare a bit more you won't regret the Shure SE215's.

Thanks man! just looked at some of the reviews for the Klipsch and they look good. It would be nice to get the Shures but unfortunately I'm a poor student. :P
