That's a really impressive setup man, wow. I'm inspired by it.

And I can't help but wonder how those soda cans ended up on top of the beamer haha?

LMAO. I used a warped piece of wood for the beamer shelf

needless to say the projector was a lil wobbly

the soda cans wiegh the one side down so my image is centered on screen.

should have taken them down for the pics but oh well

my overall  cost is low  but you can prolly tell by the mis mashed parts :)

It's not so much a "theater" as a music room with a big ass screen. Though it does work quite well in both scenarios. :)

How is that NOT a home "theater"? You don't need full movie style seats and surround sound for it to be one :P

I see you have some emotiva gear and auralex acoustic panels. That's a nice room.

Well, it was designed as a dedicated music room. However, I was able to purchase the screen and found a nice projector at a very reasonable price so....

Here is my humble apartment setup.  No receiver so I have the Logitech z5500s going through the TV's optical out connection.  Using my HTC One as my remote for everything, and HTPC is an ancient core2duo with 2gig of ram running XBMC.  Next upgrades will be replacing the cable gateway with a separate modem and Asus wireless AC router, then eventually build an amazing htpc that can run games directly (thinking a win7 build with steam big picture and xbmc installed, depending on the media features of steamos I may go that way)

Mine is DIY. 4 high excursion 15" subs with 3" Voce coils in 7.5 cubic ft cabinets with 1.5" walls tuned to 17hz with slot loaded ports run by a heavily modified Adcom GFA555 MKII with dual 1kva transformers and 12 20 amp output transistors. The DC rails run at 100vdc and is more that double the weight (now 1200wpc @4 0hms see pic of Stock 555 vs. Mine) Adcom 75wpc Mutichannel for Center and Surrounds, modified Hafler 120wpc for the fronts. All but height speakers have Dual Peerless HDS 6.5" midwoofers and a Vifa 1" Dual Concentric Dome. All speakers but the heights are phase and time aligned and are very efficiant. Preamp is a Marantz AV8801 and a Panasonic 3D projector on a 106" screen. You can really feel the current flowing from the amplifiers when listening to music and movies. No need for rumble seats at all and very nice imaging too!
