**Update**

Got my new rig up and going, here are the results -

Benchmark: Firestrike

CPU: Intel i5 4690k @ 4.4 Ghz

GPU: 2x Nvidia GTX 770

GPU Core: 1137 / 1059

GPU Memory: 1753 Mhz

Score: 10529

3DMark Link: http://www.3dmark.com/fs/2981150

Defiantly seeing a jump up from having the old FX 6300 -

Alas however, it does seem to be the end times for my 770 SLI setup, next thing up is going to be 970s / 980s!

So my 6GB 780 SC ACX from EVGA doesn't count as 'highend' anymore, so I've currently snagged top-spot for SkyDiver on the new sheet, eh? Sweet! :3

Oh come on, you're not upset, are you :)?

If it makes you feel better I take your score out of SkyDiver ;) .

Intel i7 7820X (delidded) @ 4.9GHz - MSI X299 M7 ACK + EKWB Fullcover Block - G.Skill Trident Z 32GB @ 3466MHz - nVidia Titan Xp + EKWB Fullcover Block @ 2.1GHz - Samsung 960Pro 2x - WDD Blue 2TB - Seasonic 750W Platinum - modded Corsair 600C - Hardtubed Custom Watercooling

Updated your score. Pretty big jump. There you can see how much your old CPU bottlenecked your GPUs.

I am going to dive in to try to OC the cards soon, I have tried a few times thru msi afterburner, but I haven't been able to get it stable, keeps locking up during games -

I think it has something to do with being 2 different cards with different core clocks, and just not playing well together. I haven't done any research into it yet though, need to look at the gpu overclock sticky in this forum

If a 6gb 780 SC is aloud to post Skydiver scores, a 970 should be also!!! No room for discrimination in this thread!! Lol

You can't be serious.  Hyperthreading is a market joke?

I was joking about it, I'm glad to currently have the top score there, since only way to beat it would be like a pair or trio of 770's in SLI! xD

Just for the LOLz

Benchmark: SkyDiver

CPU: Intel i5 4690k @ 4.4 Ghz

GPU: 2x NVidia GTX 770 SLI

GPU Core: 1137 / 1059

GPU Memory: 1753

Score: 27900

Damn, I knew a pair of 770's in SLI would inch out my single 780 in Skydiver! xD

At least I still hold the top Skydiver score for SINGLE card, and when I get my second 780 I'm taking my spot back! :P

Also, the clocks on your primary 770 and the memory clocks on both cards are higher than on my factory OC (SC), so that'll give you a bit of a boost over a single card too! xD

If a 6gb 780 SC is aloud to post Skydiver scores, a 970 should be also!!! No room for discrimination in this thread!! Lol

But you're running on the newer architecture, whilst I'm running on last-gen's, so you automatically get a bonus to being high-end! :P

Im benching right now all 3DMark, Valley, and Heaven. Im doing stock on CPU and GPU, then max GPU Boost, and finally ASUS auto overclocked CPU. This is all to see what improvements I can get.

Addition: Ill do some proper ocing once I get my loop into place and the PC fully setup.

Some of you really need to fix your text because as a dark theme user I cant see any of it.

I finished the first round of testing using stock speeds earlier today for the testing of my 980's.

I was toying around with some OC'ing the 770s, getting a tad more out of em with a stable OC, cant seem to push the memory clock past +25 so It sits at 1765 Mhz, and I evened out the core clocks and fan curve so it always stays below 80c keeping the boost clock from turning off, so after boost both cards are at 1280 (iirc), heres the updated score

Benchmark: Fire Strike

CPU: i5 4690k @ 4.4 Ghz

GPU: 2x GTX 770 SLI

GPU Core: 1175 / 1214 (after gpu boost 1280 each)

GPU Memory: 1765

Score: 11261

@Cheddle try turning up your fans to 100%, gpu boost on the cards turns off when you reach 70-80c and underclocks the card, if you can keep the temps down it shouldn't drop like that
