LTT 3DMark Thread

Seems like your overclock isn't stable, note the turbo freq on your cpu for that result.

Been running Valley probably 20 times tonight with these high settings. I had no issues. Maybe I´ve got to turn back the CPU overclock a bit for 3D Mark.

Yeah, I had that issue when I was running at 4.9ghz, I thought it was stable despite what 3dmark said but eventually had a bluescreen and discovered they were right, I turned it down a little and everything was good.

I have edited my first result. Seems like you were right. I had to play a bit with my adjustments and CPU is now running without Turbo @ 4.2 GHz with Turbo @ 4.56GHz. Result is pretty close to the first but it is valid.

Nice, I'll update once I get back home.

Are your 980s reference? I think I'm going to hold out for 980ti or equivalent maxwell refresh. Nice score though!

Thank you that was a good advice :)

Yes they are indeed 2 Gigabyte Ref GTX980s. I will get the highend chip as well, but for now I´ll stick to the GTX980s. Believe me I was fighting with myself if I should change my GTX780Ti for this. But I wasn´t so greedy about 30% more performance or so. GM204 is impressive but still in 28nm. It was clear that this would not be a huge leap in performance at all. But the MFAA is something I wanted and the 4GB VRAM for my 4K Monitor.

Right now I am testing the Watt that the system draws out of the wall. And mybe later today I´ll benchmark with just one card.

Are you using the new Intel driver? It was supposed to give a decent gain over the previous driver.

Yep, and I'm also overclocked from 1200mhz core to 1650mhz.

Yep, bit of a slideshow @ the 1080p I was running them at. But still wanted to throw my results in as I too was impressed with its performance in other games.

I wish it was godly. I have reached my limit on air. 1500/2000 is pretty decent though. Im still pretty happy with it especially for the price. Cant wait for some optimized drivers!!
