Lag when watching video

I have Windows 7 and Windows 8 on my computer and when I boot up windows 8 I have this problem. Everytime I watch a video no matter if it is from youtube or on my computer, after 1-2 minutes it starts lagging. And when I try to move the mouse it's back to normal. But then again after 1-2 minutes it starts lagging.

Being serious, do you have any sort of usb hub connected to your mouse? Also try using a different USB port for your mouse, this has been known to work.

Is this the real life? Or is this just fantasy?
