39C in the Bios to hot?

So I recently built my PC and my copy of windows hasn't arrived yet so I can only go in the the bios.

I'm kinda new to this stuff so I was wondering if you could let me know if 39c is a normal temp in the bios.

Yes, in the BIOS the cpu runs at full speed.

That's a perfectly fine temp in the BIOS

Previously Trogdor8freebird

5800x | Asus x570 Pro Wifi (barely enough for 64GB apparently given it's 2133 and still crashes sometimes) | 64GB DDR4 | 3070 Ti 8GB | Love that whole weeb shit

what is your ambient (room temperature)? ambient makes a world of difference in

CPU/GPU temperatures.

I'm not gonna check now cos it's night in the uk, I normally keep my pc next to the window anyway

normally, your CPU idle temps would be 5-8° above ambient temperature.

no real way to lower that idle temp other than lowering the ambient or

operating voltage.

yeah id only worry about it if you idle at say 45 plus (unless in very hot country)

Thats not really true. Its same as desktop idle. None of current mobos will run stock cooler at full speed in BIOS, nor does CPU need to be under full use.

I meant the CPU clockspeed, not the fan. Normally when a CPU is idle it downclocks itself, but in the BIOS it runs at the highest frequency.
