Which of thses IPS displays?

Which of theses IPS displays would you choose if you had the opportunity ?

 

AOC 23" LED I2367FH

What's it going to be used for?
-Need a 1080p HDMI monitor to plug in a HD PVR 2 Gaming edition Plus
-Gaming ( DayZ, Battlefield)

2nd priority:
- Girlfriend wants to correct pictures on the IPS

The LG uses less power, has a faster response time and has an awesome sounding input port (Hovedtelefoner, whatever that is :) ). I guess I'd probably go with that.

What about the contrast ratio..
AOC is

20M:1

and LG IS

5m:1

I have never used a AOC monitor, I have a LG. So I would say LG.

My Dell U3011 is quoted as max 100,000:1 and it was ~$1500. Not sure how they're measuring that but I wouldn't be too worried. LG still.

I mean it's meaningless in that the listed numbers don't tell you anything about the contrast ratio of the monitor.  There's no standardized way of measuring it.

If have the LG 24 inch model and I'm really happy with it.

 

a couple of small things are that the build quality of the stand isn't all that great and the power button keeps flashing red when the monitor is in sleep mode. So if your pc is in your bedroom that could be a problem for some people
