Asus PB278Q-ASUS monitor problem

Hi

I have ASUS HD7970-DC2T-3GD5 and Asus 27 PB278Q  PLS monitor.

I can¨t get more then 1920/1080 reselution, I have DVI-D Cable that come with the monitor

your monitor is a 2560x1440. You need to use a Dual Link DVI cable.

Use the DVI cable provided by the monitor, it's a dual link DVI one. You can identify a dual link DVI by having a full set of pins, and no missing pins in the plug.

Your graphic card needs also to support Dual link DVI (the great majority of them does.. but they are cases....)

 

But yes, you can use DsiplayPort, if you have the plug on your system and cable.

It was a Little swiitth on the Graphics card.

to activate  2560+1440
