Triple Monitor on HD4600, which adapters?

Majestic
Go to solution Solved by Majestic,

Well it doesn't work. Neither does dual screen. I can only get dualscreen on my monitor + TV via straight HDMI. However, if i try 2x Monitor it cannot find the screen on the hdmi port.

Anyone have a clue what's going on? I'm using a DVI->HDMI adapter for the 2nd screen.

EDIT; So yeah, Intel HD doesn't do adapters. Apparently, i failed to recognize my screen as a displayport connection. So i hooked everything up without adapters (monitors via DP and DVI and TV via HDMI) and now everything works.

Hallo HWI,

As far as I know, the HD4600 has triple monitor support. However, i'm a bit worried about what adapter/cable to order in order to fit every display i have.

My Z87i Gaming AC has a HDMI, Displayport (normal) and a DVI output. The screens I have to connect are DVI x 2 and a HDMI TV
Guy at the PC-shop said something about needing an active displayport adapter if you're going for multiple screens. What do you guys think is the best way of hooking everything up? Only thing that'd be great is if i could use HDMI on my TV, i've got a special 90deg. cable that helps cable management and is an issue if i want to connect it to anything else.

Screens; 2x Dell 2312HM
TV: UE32ES5500

Regards,

Get a displayport to dvi adapter and connect one of the dvi displays to that. I don't think you need an active adapter.

Depends on the max refresh rate you want to run on the dp/hdmi monitor. I would get active regardless. The simple 20 dollar adapter on supports up to around 75 hz. I got a fancy $120 adapter so I could run surround display at 120hz.

I'd just stick to hdmi then. No point in wasting money, no benefit no loss.

@Mick Naughty, I don't think you read the question properly. I'm trying to connect 2x DVI monitors and a HDMI TV to a iGPU with the following connections; DVI, DP and HDMI.

With one condition; the HDMI connection is reserved for the TV.

Then it's pretty obvious, dp2dvi adapter. Active and passive will be the same amount. 20 bucks so just get an active one.
