That's $720 for the G-Sync monitor if you wanted to know. Pretty good deal IMO, but I prefer IPS

I'd pick one up. G-sync might actually be worth it over ips from this aspect.

if its that price sure but only gsync up to 60hz, that seems kinda pointless to me, just turn on vsync

It's a better value for one, and you can lower the resolution. When 4K become more practical for gaming, the resolution is there and ready.

except for the time gap between Swift's announcement vs release date

so now that we have the announcement, maybe we'll be able to buy this by the end of next year

And I really would like too see rewiew also, i have spend hours watchin linus and comparing what to byu and what to not.

I bought my curret Rig little under a yar ago and looking to update my display now so have to wait for that rewiew..

Because unless you have at least 2 290x or 780ti graphics cards or more, you will be stuck playing your games at low settings or at high settings at less than 30fps.

4k is VERY hardware demanding to run. Most people don't have a spare $3000 to spend an a 4k screen and graphics cards to run it.

Graphics hardware is not powerful enough atm to properly run 4k games.

Which doesn't make sense to advice someone to buy a R9 290X CF for a G-Sync monitor... makes the whole thing kind of obsolete.

BTW 4K with a 2way Titan Black or even a 2way GTX780 Ti with G-Sync is actually something that makes sense.

You're missing the point. Lower the resolution if it's an issue, but the monitor is still 4k capable for when 4k becomes practical for gaming.

I have Gtx 780 overclocked at 1250 core. And had no problems playing 4k when i tried it. avarage fps was about 55 fps, but ofc it depends at game, but whit 4k i noticed that aa can be turned down a lot and it's not noticible.

Mhm somehow this doesn't sound right... I have my 2 way GTX780 Ti SLI overclocked as far as it goes under water (higher than your single card) and I get in 4K between 35-60FPS as long as my VRAMs don't bottleneck , depending on the settings and the game. At least in current games, I don't use AA settings but go as high in details as possible. I don't know what you've played to achieve 55 FPS with a slower 780 single (probably an older title I assume) but you will not see high FPS in playing games like Arma III, BF4, WatchDogs, etc with a single 780...

If I remember right the game was Warframe at the time when i tried(had 1h time to try so had to test it whit what i got:) ). and i don't say u can play the heaviest games at 60 fps, but neither do u have to play them whit 24... and i'm under water too and gettin secon card at the same time as display :)

Yeah that's what I meant Warframe isn't hardware hungry at all... the recommended system requirements are very low. When you throw a current game on a single 780 in 4K you will see FPS drops below 20.

In order to get acceptable performance in 4K a SLI or CF is more a requirement than a recommendation IMHO.

yea after i went back to think about it

derp myself

titan black will be very costly with the GTX780Ti

you do need to turn down some settings here and there to maintain the fps and keep the VRAM usage just under the 3GB limit
