Alternative to MAXIMUS VII RANGER

I was looking at the Ranger, but are there better alternatives that offer more at the same price or the same as ranger for a cheaper price...

MSI Z97 Gaming 7 is a pretty good board and about the same price.
but think you might want to set a budget for your motherboard and give us something more to work with.

About the price of the ranger. Prices in denmark are a little higher but I can see that its priced at £147.60 on amazon. So about that
