Amazon ready to snatch Twitch away from Google: more updates

Recommended Posts

good news; sorta. Content creators (streamers) might have more resources, but they will also probably relinquish the rights to their content.

Pfffft Complete and utter BS , They didn't force you to Use Google plus.

All they did was request you to Make a Google plus page so that you could get access to the new features they were adding , like comment editing , +(Randomname) to tag people, Side channels like having Techquickie and Channel super fun Be part of your channel but still separate entities and not having all the goddam usernames already taken and getting stuck with XxRandomshit47294xX And after your Google plus was intergrated all your notifications still showed on YouTube , you never really needed to go And actually use you Google plus and add your friends to it.

Not to mention they also cleaned up chat so that comments are from people who are legit rather then every single other comment being by Jessica's Sextape or Rohanas sextape or bots saying stuff like go visits my friends channel !

I don't care how you cut the cookie Google plus was a good thing. YouTube comments were really bad before and you fail to acknowledge all the improvements and only complain about having to spend a few minutes and implementing Google plus.

Are you for real? I was not allowed to comment without Google+. That's the definition of forcing someone. Do this or you can't have this feature you had before.

I can only see one thing that is BS, it is you.

I'm not sure what to think of this. At the least it will mean better servers. At the worst, more payments needed to just view a stream

Nope, it was all rumours.

In reality Twitch was probably in talks with both Google and Amazon, and Amazon offered the biggest amount of money.

With all the pushing by Linus for us to buy things using their Amazon code or whatever I guess Linus will be happy about this relationship.  Linus was pro-Amazon.

Btw congrats to Twitch for making big coin.

On one hand I'm happy about this and on another I'm slightly disappointed, Google now can't mess twitch up, but now there's less of a chance of seamless youtuube integration

I'm not talking about the fact you said forced , they did force , I'm saying they Dont make you USE IT, Since just setting up a thing Google plus for 10 minutes never to go back again doesn't qualify as Using it. So I don't think anyone should complain.
