Spoiler

All the parts arrived a couple days ago and I finally got around to taking a picture of them.
Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong monitor and have to wait for the replacement to arrive--should be by Tuesday (I hope).
Even more unfortunately, the H440, which I ordered from NCIXUS got delayed as they were unable to ship it out due to a stupid system that only they follow...and by the time they got their shit sorted out it was put on back order and is now being shipped from some other company. So...yeah, that may take a while.

Spoiler

Yesterday I found out that the H440 is backordered by NZXT themselves, and NCIX won't be getting any for about a month...So, today my Dell P2414H was delivered so I decided to set everything up. Currently everything is up and running (and working properly); and I'm now beginning to download all my games so it will be pretty for when the case comes. Hopefully the gpu and AIO work, since those are the only components I can't really test as theres no way to mount them :/ .

So, once everything is done downloading, I guess i'll be putting everything back in the box and patiently waiting for the case to arrive.

Spoiler

I decided to check the status of my order on NCIX's website, and according to the site its still under "order processing"--i.e. it has not shipped. However if you look into the info it lists a tracking number, which says it will be delivered by Friday 8/29. So theres some hope :)

Spoiler

Turns out UPS had an issue and its going to be delayed until 9/2 -- the new expected delivery date

Spoiler

The case arrived and every things fully assembled and running.
P.s. I know theres a "leaking" (misplaced) LED. Ill fix it another later.

Spoiler

Decided to pick up a 144hz panel (BenQ XL2411z) and a Rosewill RHMS 11003 dual monitor arm.

Spoiler

The BenQ XL2411z and Rosewill RHMS 11003 arrived and everything is all set up. So far the jump to 144hz doesn't seem all too aparent to me (im assuming it will become apparent if I try to switch back to my old 60hz monitor). The BenQ has a really nice picture, especially for a TN panel, and the monitor arm is quite strong and certainly frees up a bunch of room on my already cramped desk. So thats a nice bonus.

I already had a 780 at home from another computer, so I wasn't going to go buying a non-SLI-able card.

Yeah, Im not the creative time. Feel free to suggest a better title.

Why is the keyboard nawt bluuueeee?

I completely forgot that Corsair made a k70 with a blue LED, and I don't really care enough to RMA the keyboard back to exchange it. I also kinda prefer black to the gunmetal gray anyway...so, I think black+red LED is better than gray with blue LED...meh, maybe not...whatever.

I don't like MX blues. And like I said, I completely forgot there was a blue backlit K70.

Would solid blue extensions (24 pin, 8 pin cpu, 6+2 pin pcie) be too much blue in a black/blue build?

/Are Bitfenix Alchemy extensions any better than Silverstone PP07 (considering the Silverstones are cheaper)?

Nice build though, what's that thing on your wall? Reflections of something?

It is said, that civilised man seeks out good and intelligent company, so that through learned discourse he may rise above the savage and closer to God. Personally, however, I like to start the day with a total dickhead to remind me I'm best!

Yeah, its reflections coming off the boxes--I talk the picture with the lights off and flash on.

Running (unanswered) questions:

Are Silverstone PP07 extensions good or should I consider Bitfenix Alchemys (considering PP07s are cheaper).

Are these NZXT white LEDs good, or should I be looking at others?

Welp, looks like this will be delayed until the end of September, since NCIX won't be getting the case in until then...

Guess I'll just have to stare at this box of components until then.....although I should really try and put everything together and run it to make sure everything is in proper working order--too bad I don't have a god damned case to do it in......

No, and none of them have the black/blue H440. My only option is to wait until the end of septemeber and get the h440 from NCIX, or opt for something else either by getting a refund or just opting for something else from NCIX. But, I don't really want anything else...

The best thing that could happen would be NCIX would be in a really generous mood and offer to give or loan me a cheap crappy case to hold me over until the h440 comes, and then I could just send them back that case...but ummm the likelihood of that happening is about .000001%
