Why so hostile dude?

Aren't I correct in saying that higher impedance headphones as a general rule are harder to drive? Isn't impedance the go to metric for determining that?

In my experience that's been the case, if I plug my HD650s into onboard they sound quiet as shit.

Wrong, but not completely.

It's a good indicator, but it's not completely telling. A metric that doesn't always hold true isn't very useful when experience is arbitrary.

The T50RP's I have are 50 ohms, you would be led to believe any onboard can do it, in reality an e10 can't and it needs a receiver or o2 and better.

Error: 410

The really question, is what is the difference between onboard and soundcard. And the answer is none.

Not true, the sound quality onboard of an ASUS Maximus Extreme and a STX with a pair of JBL LSR305 monitors is miles away. You my friend are deaf.
