Slow pc

grimmjow660

Hi, my PC recently started becoming slow and it's a brand new build. Everything was fine until a few days ago. I used to play games and get very good fps, but now it's super laggy and such, I have to go into the start menu and restart the pc for it to become stable.
Specs: I7 4790k, Asus Z97-AR, 8gb G Skill Ares Ram, Thermaltake 850w, 1tb WD HDD,, Gigabyte GTX 770 4gb

temps of your PC?

sounds like CPU throttling back

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

The idle looks fine. Maybe it's the GPU throttling? Open a monitoring software to check the temps and run Furmark, or some other stress test.

My drivers are updated, I've even reinstalled them a few times. I'm stress testing with Intel Extreme Tuning Utility right now.
I'm at 1768x992

Watchdogs, Tomb Raider, Dayz, any game.

Ok, I thought you were getting the "Watch Dogs experience", since it's horribly optimized. That 52C seems fine, so I guess it's not the GPU either.

Where do I see the driver version?

You would be able to see it in geforce experience.

www.nvidia.com/drivers

also, as a better bittorrent alternative, try tixati. it's a lot better.
