[Updated 6.2] Mega PC!!! 900D | 3930K | SLI Titan's First watercooled build Oodles of HQ Pics inside!

SoloTwo

First off, first post, long time lurker. I'm not much of a wordsmith so I'll try and keep this quick. And about the name, its an inside joke I'm well aware that its not that mega.  A couple months ago I figured out I wanted to build my own PC, nothing special, simple all in one watercooling.  Then this happened.

My blank canvas...

Future Plans

Once I know I'm capable of doing my own loop I will eventually buy another Titan and then put them both on water.  Not sure if I will just add another loop just for them or do something else entirely. Still trying to decide on what I should do for the lighting.  Right now the only thing I have is the two LED plugs to light up the res so we'll see how that turns out.  And I'm sure there are things I'm forgetting.

Latest Updates

5.26.13 - Photos, photos, and more photos!
6.2.13 - Loop completed

Btw you can see even more photos, and in all there high res glory at my Flickr Set.

For the record I bought a DSLR just to document the build so thats the reason for the photo spam.  Also, this new hobby is becoming costly...

First step was to take pictures of all the components that are worthy of it so here goes.

Boring as hell empty 900D photos.  Just fyi its hard to make interesting photos with an empty case.

Shown in the layout I plan to use with only 1 HDD cage.  Plan is to mount the pump on top of that support bracket then have the reservoir attached to it with a male to male rotary fitting.  Not exactly sure if I'm going to mount it on the back or forwards yet.

Btw if you are wondering where the Titan is its currently being bottlenecked by a 2600k in my current pc, once I get to the point when I need to take it out I'll do some glamor shots of it.  Also tomorrow at the very least I'll be putting the new fans in along with the motherboard.  All my fittings, tubing, and res won't be here till tuesday so I can't get started on the loop quite yet.

Only real memory I could think of that would go with the nickel of some of the components.

Because I bought my Titan 3 weeks ago.  Goal was always to buy another Titan down the road then put both of them underwater so not sure entirely what I'm going to do now.  Probably try and find someone rage selling a Titan for 780's and pick it up for some sort of discounted price.  If I would try and sell my Titan then buy two 780's the cost savings would be negligible.  But hey Titan sounds cooler and I have 3 more gb's of ram and 9% better performance!  <_<

How much did your CPU Waterblock cost?

$94.99 from Frozencpu.  Went for something different rather than the normal XSPC or EK route.
