Where Do You Buy Your Computer Stuff?

TheBrenz

Usually Scan UK, I like their next day delivery for £5, and the price of the products isn't bad either.

almost everything i buy is from amazon.co.uk, very rarely i buy from scan.co.uk and aria.co.uk, but amazon is waay to easy to spend money!!
on the extremely rare occasion i need something on the day i go to a local pc shop in town, but normally i have things from etailers

I'm lucky enough to have a Microcenter near me.  Call me old fashioned but still prefer brick and mortar over online.  They accept returns in case anythings wrong no questions asked.  They dont even open the box.  They match prices with Newegg but not Amazon so if there is a way better price on Amazon then I'll go with them.  Frozen CPU is awesome for water cooling.  Buyer beware with performance PCs, they have great service until something goes wrong.  Had a really bad exprience with them.

Find the cheapest price online, then price beat at Memory Express (or NCIX if its not available at ME).

Ya this. But my memx usually doesn't have the good stuff very long. And they put the other big store out of business. They were shiesters though.

Wherever it's cheaper on either Amazon or Newegg, or if I need/want something in my hands that day I go to Frys or MicroCenter.

Best deal available for the desired part. Places I buy from in order from most to least:
Newegg.com (for combos and shellshockers)

FrozenCPU.com (for liquid cooling parts)

TigerDirect.com (for things Newegg doesn't carry)

NCIX.com (for things Newegg and TigerDirect don't carry)

Amazon.com (for when nobody has the part on sale/special)

eBay.com (for discontinued parts no longer available anywhere else, or if cheaper and NIB)

I am a custom-order PC builder, so I have some long purchase histories with all of the above.

^ this I agree with 100%, that is why I am happy that I live near them, when you show up in person, they honor every thing, but if you have to deal with them by phone, that is a problem.
