I don't know ... weeks ... my windows 8 doesn't crash by itself. Im not at home to look the time. I never shut it down unless I have to do an update or I know I will be gone more than a day.

I shut down every night I don't know if it helps at all but its become habit.  My laptop on the other hand is always on.

One time my server managed 30days+ of uptime. then the power went out :D

I'm guessing Windows Server, try Debian, CentOS or Redhat, they designed to stay up for months, even years

At least your running Server 2012 (R2), and not Server 2003 like my school :(

We have thin clients that connect to server running Windows Server 2003, pretty sure are main server is Windows Server 2008 R2 though

Luckily the computer used for the IT subjects are running Windows 7 instead

It would be longer but I had some updates that needed installed so it required a reboot. My centos box however is running at about 3 months of uptime now.

1 day, 20 hours, 40 minutes, 13 seconds on my Pendo Tab 7 (the Quad core version, not the shitty dual core which I pissed off).

0 days 0 hours and 0 mins,

I switch off each night, because I don't see the point in leaving it on.

I don't leave my car on overnight so why the heck would I leave my PC on?

I don't know why so many people here leave their computer on all the time.

I checked one hour because 3 hours was the closest to it.

Dunno what you all are doing but I don't want to waste energy and money so I turn my things off at night.

Or when I'm not using it.

It's not like it takes ages to start your computer with an SSD.

I have a server and my rig folds when I'm not using it. My 660 Ti folds constantly.

I have to shutdown my desktop every night because it is in my room and it is really loud (poor people problems) and I turn my laptop off whenever i am not using it because it boots up almost as fast as any computer comes out of sleep (only cost £170 but still has solid state storage).
