Could someone direct me to this dialogue in Windows 8.1? The uptime doesn't seem to be located in Task Manager anymore.

Press "CTRL + Shift + ESC" and go to the 2nd tab (Performance). Should look like this:

I'm at 2:23:45:45

Which is actually pretty low. Laptop usually stays "on" (standby is counted as on) 24/7.

The only thing holding my uptime back is the occasional power outage. Otherwise, it's normally 1 week or more.

Usually I don't reboot my laptop, so often the uptime can easily be +60 days. On my desktop I  often change between different operating systems and thus usually only end up with 1-2 day uptime.

im at 1 hour usually around like 18 hours my friend like never shuts off his pc and is running over 2 months right now. yes on consumer grade hardware and he doesnt listen when i say its stupid to do that.

Managed to get 276 days on a dell laptop running VISTA basic. Was using it as a basic web server and forgot about it when I moved to my Linux server xD
