Whats the most money you wasted on tech stuff?

bought minecraft for 360 while my mated lived with me for a bit last year...
im poor so dont have money to waste.
could say my 750d and rm750 as together they were over £200 jsut for a case and powersupply im not fully using yet, but knowing me give it a year or 2 and ill have a 420 rad and an r9-290 or 2 so they may become worth it....at which point itll be my £300 cooling loop that becomes the waste.

dust filters didn't work 100% they cover one side the outs and inputs and other holes gets the dust in very easy ..

 

My PSU has filters for the fan which it's under ( Cool Master CM 690 3) the dust access the PSU from the other side  that has the power input !

Buying like 8 monitors from Goodwill and slowly growing out of them and making use for them one was so old it was like 11 inches or smaller and has a 16ms response time.

My PSU has filters for the fan which it's under ( Cool Master CM 690 3) the dust access the PSU from the other side  that has the power input !

 

It's possible to buy some sort of mesh and cover those holes with that as well and try to make your fan configuration right so it blows as much air out so dust won't come in.

I bought mine 5days before gtx780ti launch which is even worse because it dropped non Ti prices by 1/3.

But i'd say biggest waste was 130€ on a 3d vision 2 set. Used it once.

Oh, and my 600€ TV on which i wanted to game but turns out latency SUCKS so its impossible.

My R9 290X. Bought it on eBay for €300 (about $400). It was going to be used for an IT project, but it got cancelled. The card wasn't even a month old and was only used once to test it out. I'm very happy with it now.

I bought an extra radiator before I confirmed what case I wanted to build in. And I can only see myself trying to build in a smaller form factor in the future, but hopefully maybe someday that extra rad will come in handy lol

Still this is Australia, in Aus we can spend a thousand on a PC, and still not have enough for peripherals and an OS.

The most expensive thing I'm about to buy is a 780ti. The most expensive things I've ever bought for my pc was a fx-57 for $1k a long time ago, and a pair of sennheiser hd800 headphones for $1100 that I use with a amp/dac.
