What headphones are you using?

Mattyc

What headphones are you all using? And why did purchase them?

I personally use Sennheiser HD280's. I initially bought them because of the overwhelming amount of great reviews it had, and never really felt the need to purchase a different pair.

I use Sennheiser IE 4 earbuds and AT M50 headphones. After using many different earbuds and headphones I just decided that these two sounded the nicest and that I liked them the most so I've stuck with them.

Right now JVC HA-DX1000 when at home and JVC HA-FX700 when out or at work. I really like the JVC house sound.

For music listening: Sennheiser HD800 and Sennheiser HD650

For computer use: Sennheiser HD598

For portable use: Sennheiser Momentum and Sennheiser IE80

At this rate I'll be able to open a Sennheiser museum by the time I retire :)

I use ATH M50 RDs at home because they were cheap when i bought them, they look half decent, and people rave about them.

For my mobile i use Sol Republic Amps HDs, because they too were very cheap and are actually quite good

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

Bought a powermac G5, expect a mod log sometime in 2015

Corsair is overrated, and Anime is ruined by the people who watch it

Superlux HD681 EVO for when I'm at home, mostly when on voice comms to avoid echo from speakers. Cheap but great sound quality and surprisingly comfortable with velour pads.

Sennheiser PX-200 II when I'm outside listening music from iPhone. I don't really like in-ear earphones but wanted something portable and these on-ears do everything I want.

V-Moda M-80s, bought them 2-3 years ago, work almost like new today. Outstanding build quality and sound quality is amazing for the 200$ I spent on them. Recently picked up a pair of Shure SE-315s and these probably sound even better than my headphones, they sit comfortably, and I love their sound signature which emphasize vocals.

AKG K240 Studio for the notebook when I am too lazy to bring a better headphone.

Sennheiser HD 650 and HD 800 for music and games.

I use a Phillips she8000, because I need something that is cheap until i buy proper headphones. The retailers   in country (well the ones that i know off) only sell Bose, Beats, SoL Republic etc. unfortunately :( so no Sennheiser , Audio Technica or Beyerdynamic for me.
