Spotted something I really wanted at a thrift store today: an S-VHS compatible VHS player.

image0.jpg

More specifically, it's a DVD/VHS recorder combo that supports DVD-RAM disc recording and reading and S-VHS tape playback. I only wish it was an S-VHS ET machine rather than just supporting SQPB playback, but beggars can't be choosers, especially for $20.

Local dickhead and VHS collector. Voted Most Offensive and Most Idiotic 5 Years in a Row!

Volume / Normalized 100% / 100% (content loudness -0.1dB)

Funnily enough, as a guy growing hair out, long hair actually costs more because you need to take care of it.

So, this was originally 175 before tax.   The original was listed as in stock, and a supervisor lied to me saying it was out.   While we were chatting 2 were still in stock.   He manually delisted the item to back up his lie.   I ask to speak to his boss, and he said he was the highest chain.   Which, isn't true.   They can have an executive call you.   <.<   He said he was, but ends the chat because I caught him in a lie.  After a few more agents I got to a supervsior that was actually helpful.   He gave me 65 bucks in promo credit to price match the items, but the item shouldn't be listed at 125ish as I think he glitched the system out when he put the code in.   This left me with an additional 55 bucks in my gift card balance.   I mean I did explain US consumer protection laws to him, threatened a lawsuit, and threatened a BBB complaint due to several issues in the past with Amazon on top of it all.   They listed the other one as a prime item, I ordered it last week, and that contradicts a service they charge me for, thus full advertising.  I paid like 64 something bucks for this in the end.  XD
