Finally joined the 4k monitor club.

Spoiler

4k.thumb.jpg.2fe340f2f38aed3332afc2f6acaa20b3.jpg

It's this one.  Apparently one of the better options according to a review site mentioned in these hallowed pages.  Which is surprising, given the price.  I guess decent HDR support is the price driver nowadays (this only has HDR10)

EDIT: Forgot to mention, it is flat and replaced a curved monitor.  This one now looks like it's bowing out in the middle because I've been looking at a curved monitor so long.  It's been a day now and the optical illusion still hasn't worn off.

My KBEAR 2.5mm/MMCX balanced cables came, they sure do look nice, pretty soft so very little to no telephonic.

My Fold 2 was delivered to me, gotta say, I'm lovin' it thus far. Guess my priorities have shifted, for the price of this, I believe I could have gotten an RTX3090 with some spare change.

I'd realized that in the 2nd Fold 2 pic, the screen had some smudges, was too lazy to retake the shot and upload it.....

Micro Center Romp!

  • Kensington Wireless Mouse for Life ($17.99, Price Matched w/B&H): Needed an excuse to head down to Micro Center. This was literally the only thing on my interest list the Tustin store had that was in-stock.
    • Interested in a supposedly "quiet" mouse. Admittedly, this was somewhere at the bottom on my interest list. Would've gotten a Logitech G703/G603/G305 if they were in-stock but neeeuuu.
  • Micro Center 32GB microSDHC Card ($0.01 w/LTT Coupon): What I actually wanted. I have some plans for this smol boi. 👀
  • Micro Center 32GB Flash Drive ($0.01 w/LTT Coupon): Bonus! More portable storage always comes in handy. 😁

Also wanted a CyberPower CP1500PFCLCD UPS and was planning to price match, but I'm guessing someone sniped it from my reservation list. 😣

FINE MICRO CENTER I'LL TAKE MY MONEY ELSEWHERE UGH.

JK, y'all fine folks, thanks for the purchase. 👍
