Got a graphics card for my system (1st ever graphics card).

I know it's not that great but with budget and fitting in a SFF system (Dell OptiPlex 7020)  I came to choose the GeForce GT 1030.

I'm aware that's scalped, but with the stock issues here and wanting this particular edition it's hard to find one that's real and not scalped.

If you factor in shipping and tax that they paid they arent acting too much for it Then factor in tax and shipping then the cost of shipping to you and the ebay selling fees and they are probably close to if not taking a hit on it.

I sold a gpu for 2k they took 300 from me from the rip. Either way don't see the profit in them selling it for 2400. After eBay fees they are only getting like 2100 if they are lucky. Card with tax if I'm not mistaken is around 1900.

1979+ 6% is 1979+118= 2097. Scalped it for around 300ish though after eBay fees they are making absolutely nothing if anything they are losing money. Don't really see that as scalping as much as just selling without losing anything.

Didnt say they didnt technically scalp it. Iam saying they made absolutely nothing and sold it likely above cost, which to me looks more like someone had buyer remorse or decided they didnt want it then just sold it as close to what it costed them + paypal fees. Doesnt make any sense if you ask me to buy it scalp it and not make anything on it. Weird.

I pretty much stopped using reel to reels 4 years ago. Tapes are just too unreliable second hand and too expensive new. Switched to cassettes, only slightly inferior when you get it right. My dad has a broken Aristona SR4299 though, and I just got him a brand new blank tape for Christmas. Bit sad, so I'm helping him find a new machine. Good ones that can handle big 10" reels have gotten stupidly expensive, so I went for a properly broken one for 25 euros. It's pretty much complete, and it... turns on and does things. Logic control has completely lost it and this one uses a TBA931 IC to control its tape transport functions. This should be fun. No worries though, it came with the original power chord which is worth what I paid for the machine. I'm good.

Did a test recording, seems to work well.

 

Picked a headphones-attaching mic over a desk one because I don't have enough desk space, and wireless because no wires (you don't say) and hearing recordings of the Wireless vs. Wired ModMics, the sound quality of the Wireless seemed to be better. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Do yourself a favour, go for a TEAC A-3300SX, TEAC A-3440 or Pioneer RT-1011L if you want a reliable 10" reel to reel.
ReVox electronics are always fixable but the heads are usually dead. This one was cheap enough to bet on it but they are also heavily used. 
One of the reasons ReVox sounds so good is the soft heads, tape contact is just amazing, but finding one with good heads now is a massive challenge. TEAC heads are a bit harder (not as hard as Akai GX, which sounds pretty shitty in comparison) and the electronics of the A-series teac (Avoid X-series dual capstan machines) are very reliable. Chances are that with a new belt and some cleaning of pots and switches, an old TEAC is good for another 40 years and sound-wise they are very close to a ReVox A77, and better than a B77.

I guess my uncle went out and bought a Racing cockpit ($700), steering wheel and peddles. He uses it with his Xbox one. Hell I didnt even knew he gamed. Judging from the picture he place Forza, Im thinking its Forza Motor sports vs Horizon. Jokingly he said I was inheriting it when he passes.
