a youngnou is good but not good for everyone

I used one on my old Rebel XS/1000D. It did fine, nice to have a really open prime, and the glass was good enough with fairly low aberration for a lens at that price point. Autofocus is super slow is the only real complaint I had, also no in-lens stabilization, but with such a big aperture your shutter speed can get real short. I got spoiled with 1.8 and 1.4 lenses on my film cameras, and the price on the Youngnou was just too good to pass up.

I still have that lens sitting on a shelf in the box, with a UV filter on it, I should probably sell it while the EF mount is still relevant.

My Current Setup:

AMD Ryzen 5900X

Kingston HyperX Fury 3200mhz 2x16GB

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB

Finally hunted down this mouse (m546) to replace my old M525, it was a nice mouse but it's worn out in many ways

DSC_0208.thumb.JPG.61916def0e169a25a797948bdcfe0f9c.JPG

It takes 1 AA instead of two, so the battery life isn't as great, but 18 months is a long time and perfectly adequate (I trust Logitech's claim since my m525 changes battery every 2 years or so)

Upgraded my Logitech Z523 to a pair of Wharfedale Diamond 220 and a Yamaha HTR 4072 as I saw a nice christmas deal. That little 2.1 set has served me well since the beginning, but it was time for some nice audio to go with gaming. They were a little bigger than I expected though :P almost the same height as my puny 24" monitor.20201223_191118.thumb.jpg.7ac50a9a3fd33e0315ef1bfe13308651.jpg

And here we go! Both of the Peanuts Travelodge tapes are now in my possession!

image0.jpg

If you wanna know the origins of these tapes, Travelodge had a promotion for a while where, with eligible visits, you could get things like plushies and these two VHS tapes. To make a long story short, these tapes are now really uncommon and are quite the collectible if ya find them.

OMG, These actually do exist!

Me and my son LOVE charlie brown. During halloween, thanksgiving and xmas we play the specials from a holiday projector to our bay window on the side of the house. Since our home is on a corner lot we get to share these classics with the neighborhood.

Would you happen to know if these are archived for download anywhere?

Unfortunately, the majority of the Peanuts specials are really awkward to try to hanker down to find outside of scouting for obscure DVD and VHS releases.

Specifically for You Don't Look 40, Charlie Brown (and a couple of other weird one-off specials), I think there's uploads of those on YouTube.

Well, my Corsair Sabre RGB started to develop Corsair Syndrome after a year, namely that the cord for the mouse was failing, so I decided to change my mouse selection for a change: I yoinked a Logitech G502 Hero today.

I miss my Sabre, but hopefully this is more reliable.

Considering that I had unboxed quite a lot in Team Fortress 2 (and am making it all back, surprisingly, on a Rancho Relaxo Unusualifier), I opted to buy some games on Steam for a change.

Went with The Crew 2, Bloons TD 5 and 6, one of the PopCap collections and the rest of the Dreamcast Collection I didn't own (in which I already owned Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio and NiGHTS into Dreams). Somehow managed to sink about an hour and a half into Bloons TD 6, was pretty fucking fun.
