Upgraded my phone!  

Went from an iPhone 7 to a 12 Pro, in the Graphite colour. Really loving it so far.

2x 16TB HDD Western Digital Ultrastar DC HC550 (to replace my 3x HDD 8TB running 24/7 since 700, 1000 and 1600 days). I want to remove a 5.25" HDD rack to have more airflow in my case (and my 2 current 8TB HDD will replace my 2 current 6TB HDD)

This thing is absolutely massive. I can’t imagine anyone opening the box for the first time not going “wow”.

 

I used to think my 2080 was big lol nope

 

Now just patiently awaiting my 5900x. Hopefully that ships anytime soon.

It's worth it lol, I love my 3080 FE and the cooler just looks so nice.

I’m sure all of the hype and scarcity of these cards really add to the excitement. I know it did for me!

 

I have yet to put it in my rig, can’t wait to see how AC Valhalla runs compared to on my 2080.

 

Ive always found upgrading your rig to be more fun than building one from scratch

It's still available if anyone wants one. Backlight bleed seems like a bit of an issue but should be fine for gaming, especially for the price

The only thing I’d personally be worried about is the VA panel. IPS looks much better. This is most likely why it’s such a great price as the rest of the specs are great.

Man my VA panel monitor looks better than my previous IPS panel monitor, especially the contrast.

I agree. Ive had lightning cables break but never a lighting port on any device I have owned, and I have had a lot off apple. Almost every type c port on phones ive had has needed to be repaired within the first 6 months of ownership.

The thin part of any kinda charging port is gonna be the weak point of the design. Apple smartly put that on the cable which can be replaced cheaply. USB C puts that fragile part in the device, making the cable robust but making the weak point in the most expensive part of the system, dumb dumb move

they're designed that way, the tabs that keep the charger in are on the cord instead of inside the socket, i will say that apples included cables used to be pretty shit, but for some reason i haven't had any problems with mine as of recent.

My father dislikes the fact that the contacts are exposed as you are opening your chances of physical damage after seeing the lightning cable for my moms iPad. I never had a problem with a Type C port ever. Had a HP laptop with one for charging and I'd use the same port over and over and never did it fail. Phone wise, no issues whatsoever on my Samsung S10+.

It's not bad, but when you're like me and when you buy 2 you buy 6 to have 2 backups it hurts a bit more... thankfully when I did that it sorted my storage needs for many years.
