FiiO FH5 IEMs - Pic from work, I'm trying them on now, with the BASN MC100 MMCX cable, 'cos I didn't have time yesterday evening.

  • Extremely happy with the FiiO FH5 + MC100, I'm enjoying them lots. They look, feel, and sound amazing. (Den gets all the credit for recc'ing me these. Also I read up on sowon's FiiO FH5 Review during research-shenanigans -- read up on it, if you like? She goes into way more depth about the FH5's audio than I ever could. 😁)

Very smol PC (Sony VGN-UX90) from Japan. Reinstalled XP in English and xubuntu 18.04. Runs really well on XP, better than I'd have expected. The keyboard however is really crappy with its flat keys. 

And a pic next to its closest much improved contemporary handheld equivalent :)

Picked up some ddr 3 ram for a much needed upgrade to my old x58 system.

G.skill, 3x2gb 1600mhz 6-7-6 at 1.5v not the best but far better then 2x1gb at 1066mhz.
