I recently saw these, the gacha named IEMs (Super Super Rare). I almost impulse bought them too, before deciding I have enough IEMs planned to buy.

 

I want to get the S8 by Moondrop, but I'm waiting for the exchange rate to drop a little more (so I pay same USD, but less AUD). 

 

But sadly, I have other stuff to buy first.

latest purchase: "Flexible Water/Oil coolant pipe hose" 10pcs, "helping hands magnifier stand"

 

going to be combining both for some flexible helping hands on my workbench. basically epoxy the helping hands and magnifier to the tips of the flex tubing, fill with soft copper piping and bolt down to the desk. instant long arm clips more than stable enough to solder or hold a light, phone etc

I've been with eBay so long (since 1999) they gave me a coupon. Trying to think of something I've wanted for a while but didn't want to throw money down on, I found an "open box" condition Logitech G230 headset. No clue how good it is, and I've never had a gaming headset before, but Logitech peripherals have treated me really well in the past.

I hope you don't have a large head because the mechanism that allow the headset to lay flat are a massive weak spot which will cause the plastic to fail over time depending on how often they are used.

 

I had the model one up from those and the plastic started to crack on one side to the point that I tossed them out and now I'm avoiding all logitech headsets because they all use the same mechanism that allows them to lay flat.

Sprucing my place up with some smol but mega comfy purchases!

• Set of 2 Deskmats (Purchased for $12.99): Extended XL (31.5" x 11.8"), Cloth Surface, Rubber Base, Stitched Edges.
• Gel Wrist Rest (Purchased for $17.45): Extra Long (25" x 2.5"), Leatherette Surface, Gel Cushion.
  • Wanted to avoid memory foam wrist rests because I'm not too fond of memory foam in general.
• Throw in a $3 Amazon gift card somewhere because that's the main reason I bought the stuff.

A closer look at the deskmat. Clean stitched edges, plus very solid, stable, non-slip rubber base. Phone camera makes the cloth look extremely brown, it's beautifully black IRL.

 

Best of all? No obnoxious brand logos anywhere.

Arrived monday and I've been using it for the week, it's great! (Though Canada post didn't even attempt to deliver it, had to wait for a notice in the mail box late into the day to go pick it up)

 

Only real issue is the far edges of the monitor have colour distortion due to the viewing angle of where I am sitting, I assume a slight curve would fix this issue, but it's only really noticable when I look for it.

I've got the same lenses in mine my prescription is pretty similar, do you have specsavers in your country? They're wallet savers for us blind folk
