Not a purchase as it was gifted to me but I just recieved a Kingston HyperX CloudII headset. A very nice and quite popular mid range headset. Personally I really like the way they sound.

Makes a big upgrade from the crappy pair of £10 Ebay headphones that I was using before in conjunction with my PC's integrated mic!

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

After a quick Google search, it appears like it was never meant to be sold/appear on the market and its number (the PCPX-number) doesn't align with the game. Where did you get it? Usually, on originally released games, the number starts off with SLES, SCES, SLUS and so on for the region or the "status" of the game (original Sony, third-party manufacturer, SCED apparently denoting a Sony Demo). I assume that PCPX is some sort of demo medium.

Yoinked it from Yahoo Auctions Japan a few days ago. You'd be correct on its catalog number being used for demo software, but this specific demo I just don't know where it comes from or why it even exists.

PCPX-96301 is for a demo for one of the Intelligent Qube games and PCPX-96303 is something else entirely, so I just have no clue as to where this came from or why it exists.
