Great quality keyboard and love the linear switches. The feel of it goes well with my G502 mouse.

From what I'm told, Dyson's are pretty loud. Let me know what you think.

It can be loud over setting 6. 10 is a massive no go.

Although my office is rather small, and I don't need it over setting 3. Which means it's inaudible compared to my computer fans.
It's also right next to one of the workstations, so when I use that I only need setting 2 to get that nice cool breeze over me.

So far the filter has helped with the hay fever, which is a big plus for me as well. Also one of the cats likes it, and likes the breeze; while the trouble maker thinks it's satan and avoids the place now.

I bought an Opinel N°08 Carbon about 2 weeks ago.

First impressions: It's brilliant. It's a really high quality knife and it's just a pleasure to use. When I use it I forget I paid just £8.60 for it because it feels like I should've paid at least £30 for this, if not more. It's all metal and wood, no plastic anywhere. If you're looking for an affordable knife, I'd recommend it.

Spoiler

Also, I bought a Pentium 4 PC (it's a prebuilt, nothing particularly special). I'll edit this post once it arrives tomorrow, as I'll have pictures then. I'll also add a picture of the Opinel tomorrow.

I'd love to get a carbone one and do a patina on it... Also would love to get another maxamet or higher carbon percentage blade and do a patina... Spyderco knives are a great bang for the buck too. I paid $110 for mine, s30v solid metal liners with G10 and the ball bearing lock...

Wireless controller to not have a rats nest of cables coming from the front of my super retro trio (although the other two would have to be BT and come from thje 8-bit do line as retro-bit doesn't have any wireless NES and SNES controllers).

I know.  I thought it was silly.  Never mind.

Unfortunately I failed in my endeavor to repair my Aeron chair.  I used the sledge hammer as prescribed and got the main cylinder out of the base of the chair.  No problem.  But no matter what I did with that wrench, there was no way I could free the seat part from the same cylinder.  It's just not happening.  And I destroyed the cylinder trying, so the chair is basically toast.  😞

The chair is 17 years old, so it doesn't owe anyone anything.  That's one of the wonderful things about super-expensive chairs like the Aeron: they're very comfortable and supportive.  And they last for-fricken-ever, too.  Assuming you don't do something to destroy them like I did.  Dammit.

Nice Spyderco.  I was carrying one around for years until I decided to switch over to Kershaw.  I generally like the Kershaw opening mechanisms a bit more than I do the Spyderco ones.  Either way, great piece of steel.

Got my first high refresh rate display today, an AOC Q27G2U I brought it back at the start of march but cause of le human malware it rocked up today. 75hz was good but 1440p at 144hz is smooth; I'm feeling the slight ipc and single core slow down of my ryzen 1700 as only some games can reach 144hz also maybe the maxing out of my 1070ti too :/.

For being VA it's a pretty good monitor, there is ghosting but in games it's not that noticeable 👍

Edit: also for being G-sync compatible, it works but flickers when menus dip down to low fps. Could be a driver problem though.

What is OOS ?

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.

Nintendo Switch Lite Skin in Black Swarm with the Orange logo and Tempered glass Screen protector.

If you've seen Linus's review on the Switch Lite then you know why I choose these skins, lol.

For the drawing I simply wanted a Portrait of Linus but dbrand being the awesome memers that they are have absolutely out done themselves and delivered this masterpiece.

It make not be out of stock. Amazon has been delaying "nonessential" deliveries to bexpidte the back log of the "essential" intems faster. I ordered an external BluRay drive that's in stock but will not ship until May 14 (mutter, mutter, mumble, mumble).
