Nothing technical, but I'm glad I managed to find online these 2 bottles I couldn't find in shops anymore.

Say Hello to the Pioneer CLD-M301. This one was built in April 1993, so it's around 27 years old, or older than the great majority of this forum, myself included. It's a 5-disc CD changer AND a LaserDisc player in one. It's rather basic on outputs, with just analog outs, but it works as good as I could ask for it in terms of CD playback. Now it's time to find a LaserDisc to test this out with.

Photo to go with my last post in here. Picked up a 2060 ko ultra to go in my work computer, currently just running a 2400g but I have a 3600 in my home computer that will get upgraded to either a 3900 or the next gen, when that happens that 3600 will find a home here

My friend it looks pretty good, and that wireless keyboard with touchpad for "everything" makes it look streamlined...

Ya its built to soon be sitting on my tool box so space is a premium and most of the time its just used for netflix or a web based program to look up vehicle information so I dont need much for peripherals

Oh I see! Yes, portability is an important factor in many occasions. Good luck with everything. ?

Decided to also grab a LaserDisc to actually test off of eBay. I had to go for obscure and ridiculous and since VeggieTales never made it to LaserDisc, Peanuts was the obvious second choice because, for whatever fucking reason, Peanuts DID end up making it to LaserDisc. I think a rather large chunk of the VHS releases made its way onto LaserDisc for whatever reason and they're all rather rare.

Here's another shot of my LaserDisc player in the back of my car, just for a bonus.

Having seen the durability & performance of the IPPC line of fans from Noctua... it’s time to replace another bathroom exhaust fan!
 - Star of the show: noctua 3000rpm, 24v, IP67, (they didn’t have a 3000 rpm IP67 model last time!)

 - 24v 0.17a driver (harder to find than it should have been)

 - I drew the design for the ducts (90mm to 120mm), and had them printed. Worked out well.

I needed some new socks and as I saw the KeySmart Smart Key holder thing for 24.90 instead of 31.20 CHF I figured why not:

I put my Sim Pin tool in for demonstration. This thing can hold up to 8-10 Keys in various shapes and sizes. I wanted to get this thing later this year anyways so this was a good deal. It also comes with a little hook so that you can attach it to your thicc Car Key.

This will go great with my Smart Wallet:

I don't have it yet to show but a Vega 56 Red Dragon for $200 shipped that appears to be a good unit, fingers crossed for Samsung memory and a molded/Monolithic die. I'm also sniping on some Nitro and Nitro+ models as well just to have or to re-sell to my friend for her PC build she's picking up today. I've been reading up more on V56 and it seems like it's not only aged well but it's very very unlocked and easy to mod and tune and tweak but still performs nicely when left at nearly stock.

Can't show it cause it's still shipping, but a somewhat used Toshiba N300 6TB hard drive for $85 shipped, not sure how used exactly so hopefully it's a good deal. It's about 1/2 off new price so hopefully it's got more than 1/2 of it's life left! I'm sniping an auction for another one from the same seller with the intention to have a pair in a NAS. If I don't win the other one then I'm not exactly sure what but if the drive isn't loud I could toss it in my HTPC to replace the 1.5TB WD Green that's getting on in age.

Hard drive is defective, setup a RMA with Toshbia because the serial number checks out as warranty till 2023 and there's no request for proof of purchase. I messaged the eBay seller to let them know and asked if they could do a partial refund to cover shipping for the RMA or if they could make me a pre-paid label with me as the return address for mailing the drive to Toshiba since they likely get a better postal rate than I do.

Ouais!
