Also I got a wireless $10 keyboard, but no one cares about that when you got the black egg of awesome. That's what I'm calling this. I know it's not a perfect egg shape. Maybe a loaf, I dunno. But for $120 new it best almost every used Ebay deal (most were "around $80 but would shoot past 120 by the time the auction was near close)

Motherboard for the PS2 pc I'm building out of spare parts. Budget was about a hundred bucks so I went with the embedded CPU. Don't expect it to emulate too much so should be ok.

Got quite a bit of stuff in today! Got in a new desk with bookshelf, Monitor, Case, Cpu, M.2, PSU and Main board. Waiting on GPU and extra peripherals to come in.

if real or artificial leather needs to be shown when it's arriving, but the AliExpress store really looked like a company working on genuine leather products.

Leather is  and should be everywhere protecting everything - if it wouldn't be so harmful for all the animals... But they're slaughtered for food reasons anyway....

 

Mousepad-wise I'm currently going on brushed aluminium for years now (which Edzel isn't a fan of - but aestetic-wise), so now I'm trying leather after having cherry-wood mousepads in the office...

 

The astonishingly most effective cheapest way of an ideal mousepad (where the sensor gets the most points to distinguish) - a flagstone.

 

The latest received items are some free computer mice I got because of an ebay coupon. Also from China - I need to make extensive usb drive-by attack tests with them to proof they're safe. They've been a dollar per mouse, and the coupon was five dollars...

Off kijiji from a teen lad. It was given to him empty by an adult relative.

It was advertised at $100 but I talked him down to $40.

Three different variations of Twister on VHS that I've found over the years.

Let's start with the least interesting one, the tape in the middle. This was the standard release of Twister that you'd find in most retailers. This has a couple of previews and the Looney Tunes short.

The Special Widescreen Edition actually has no previews and doesn't have the Looney Tunes short. Many movie companies released widescreen VHS tapes, but Warner and Disney were more prolific in their releases.

The last tape... is quite of an oddity. For starters, the ink label is printed vertically, and not just that, it's printed upside-down to how it'd usually be seen. There's also no ink on the bottom for any of the tape printing details (namely the print date); rather, there's a sticker with a barcode on it. This one doesn't have previews but it has the Looney Tunes short on it.

More parts for the PS2 build. Looking like the motherboard will be mounted upside down and require different standoff heights. I think I'll screw some of these into little squares of plastic glued to the case.
