Picked up a cheapass component cable for my Xbox so that I don't have to suffer through composite anymore. This'll certainly hold me over until I decide to buy one of those fancy HDMI cables that MetalJesusRocks did a video on.

Seriously jealous of that couch and that price. Been looking for another couch on the cheap for guests but everything at the local thrift stores where I live is trashed with cigarette stains/burns, piss stains, "other" stains, or just smell bad.

 

I pretty much live in a dump of a city so I shouldn't expect more  Good ol Central Valley California.

Got my iPhone XS Max case this morning, I love it how they didn't even know the name of the new iPhone just says: New iPhone 6.5"  Well got it ready for when my pre-ordered XS Max arrives.

 

Wouldn't have changed my phone if they didn't come out with the bigger version as I'm quite happy with the iPhone X but oh well.

Yeah, the new movies are not cheap on that format.

But darn, they look so good on a good 4K HDR TV.  Just got Infinity Wars myself on a UHD disc.

 

Anyway, some goodies I got this past week or so.

Went clearance snooping with my Aunt.  Lucked on a nice mouse and a steal on some Prismacolor markers (these things are not cheap at regular price).  Instead of the usually seven bucks a pop, the mark down at the counter was a one buck and 97 cents.  Can't complain about that.

So far, the mouse working pretty well and the lightspeed hookup is working with my Mint Mate OS on my computer.

 

Also, nabbed some cables for one of my PSUs off a chap here on the forums.

Plus, did some research for a drive so I can read data off 4K HDR UHD discs.  Now, just have to setup so I can firmware flash it, and I will be good to go.

Now, to hope for some deals on some big TB drives in a few months.

OMG!!! I had that same exact watch like 15 years ago (or more). If fell off my wrist at the cottage in the lake one day and even though my friend and I dove down over and over for like an hour, we couldn't find it. The next year I remembered I had the hourly "beep" set on it, so when the hour came around we kept diving down and waiting, and we heard it beep!  A testament to the excellent waterproofing of these things. lol.

Got myself a used h60 AIO for 35 euro .

I plan on modding it onto my 290x , as the cooler is basically dead ( has horrible grinding noises on all but 1 fan ).

My dad has had this same model for at least 20 years, and it's friggin insane with how tough these things are for how inexpensive they are. He's had two in that span, working at a paper mill followed by an auto mechanic... Like jesus.

My mom absolutely loves Marvin the Martian, and we have a lot of merchandise to prove that. This is a mug from Six Flags Magic Mountain that prominently displays Marvin, and as one of my mom's sisters got a hold of the mug, she sent it over.
