Not really a recent purchase (the former tape was purchased in mid-June of this year and the latter was purchased sometime in 2012) but here's the two Cartoon Network tapes I own.

image0.jpg

If you remember The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest, then you probably remember it for being cancelled after 52 episodes. Turner Entertainment blew many millions of dollars on the show only for it to stop production after its second season and to stop airing altogether after 1999. Yikes. Not to mention it jumped networks from TNT to the Cartoon Network midway into the series. This tape was printed in September 11th, 1996.

The latter is a strange tape not because it's a Flintstones tape with Cartoon Network branding. It's a strange tape in regards to the conflicting theming of the Cartoon Network branding, the intended release of this tape in particular and the print date of it. To put a long story short, this branding would've been used in 1995-1996 era Cartoon Network, and not the Powerhouse period this tape would've been released in, in 1998. This tape was printed on November 14th, 2000, a full FIVE FUCKING YEARS after 1995.

Yeah, the camber....

It grinds my gear how the tires wear unevenly, nonetheless I still need to replace it, it starts to rain here.

Since I now have 3 automatic watches and can only wear one at a time, I'd decided that I need one of those watch winder box thingy, so I went and got one...below is a pic of my modest collection of watches with the cover opened.

VMbimJc.jpg

Below's a shot of it closed, the two watches on that circular thing is always turning. I can set it to turn on and off with different timing, but I like that it's constantly turning now. My watches are being wound and will always run w/o my having to wear 'em.

My dad is essentially a car whisper and got my aunt's car that she caved the face in on, made it look entirely normal again, and even though it's now officially a 200K mile wonder the tires still wear perfectly on top of still getting great mileage and not burning through oil like 3800's tend to do at this point. Only issue is a tiny leak but he cba to figure out where it's coming from lmao

I have my trusty AKG271s for 10+ years now and the original pads got cracks and the foam protecting the drivers is deteriorated. I've just received new ones at the office so I can't wait to return home and try them out

Made a deal for a 6 month old Zotac GTX1070 Ti Mini at about 291USD (local $ to USD), this is for my i7 2600K HTPC for some light gaming at 4k. I should be getting it on Saturday. Pretty stoked because it's been quite a while since I last bought a vid card....guys in the local forums are dumping their GTX1080Ti/1080/1070Ti/1070/1060 at pretty serious discounts. Hell, I can get a GTX1080 at a little more than what I'd agreed on for the GTX1070Ti Mini

@Volbet Finally remembered to buy the new Immortal album.

It's a great album. I was honestly really surprised.

While it does have the signature Peter Tägtgren sound, which I don't really dig, I do think it fits the album rather nicely.

I've been playing Soulcalibur since the second game/the first in the Soulcalibur series, grew up with these sega games, and the Vagrant looked interesting.

Let me know how SC VI is. Used to play III and IV a lot back in the day, then kinda got out of the genre. Never used to like those types of games but the SC series I always enjoyed.

TBH, and I've probably told you this before, that's because Demonaz is a bit better at black metal than Abbath.  I don't hate Abbath, but Demonaz is a much better leader for that genre than Abbath.  Abbath's leadership kinda made Immortal into a parody of black metal.  Demonaz, on the other hand, knows black metal and pagan metal well enough to dabble into both while producing the proper style.  That's why when I learned about this album I was excited because of what I heard from his solo Pagan Black Metal album.

I was just kinda worried about the new album. I was never a hugh fan of Domonaz as a vocalist and Peter Tägtgren has had a history of fucking up the production of some of my favorite black metal projects.

Let's do a format extravaganza:

IMG_20180907_151533.thumb.jpg.d630ae526d2ea3427ad52dafed5ca6d6.jpg

  • 12"Section.80 by Kendrick Lamar (it's a bootleg, so don't tell anyone)
  • 10"Supremacia Primordial by Caveman Cult
  • 7": Ornamented Dead Eyes by Phrenelith
  • CDVječnost truleži by Zvijer
  • CassetteConsuming the Soul by Akasha

The dog also wouldn't move, so she's in the picture as well.

Collected the used Leadtek GTX1080 Hurricane from the seller today, for 327USD (converted from local currency) I don't think I'd be disappointed with it. I hooked it up to my 4K TV and ran Gears of War Ultimate PC near max setting and it was smooth. Pretty long GPU though....

I'd not have been able to test the GTX1080 if my Logitech G613 Mechanical KB + G603 mouse combo hadn't been delivered early (guess lady luck was smiling on me). With these badboys, W/L gaming has become a reality.....responsive and fast!

Wasn't sure Leadtek was still making consumer GPUs... that's a nice one you have over there. Good KB + mouse too. You must be from Asia I suppose?

Forgot to post this here: the parts I needed for my rig and some other shit, namely a cheap DAC so half the audio coming out of my cable box isn't a buzzing tone.

Come Bloody Angel

Break off your chains

And look what I've found in the dirt.

Pale battered body

Seems she was struggling

Something is wrong with this world.

Fierce Bloody Angel

The blood is on your hands

Why did you come to this world?

Everybody turns to dust.

Everybody turns to dust.

The blood is on your hands.

The blood is on your hands!

Pyo.

You can take a look at all of the Tech that I own and have owned over the years in my About Me section and on my Profile.

I'm Swiss and my Mother language is Swiss German of course, I speak the Aargauer dialect. If you want to watch a great video about Swiss German which explains the language and outlines the Basics, then click here.

If I could just play Videogames and consume Cool Content all day long for the rest of my life, then that would be sick.
