This month, I've spent two paychecks... :D Keyboard, 32 gb DDR4 RAM, SSD (already mounted) and PSU.

My cousin asked me to try recover data from old HDD (like, REALLY old, with 40 pin connector) and since I have my chassis open since Wednesday...

PS when I thought I can't fit SSD in this chassis... like a boss.

So I saw a load of tech stuff being sold on eBay local to me (Around 20ish Miles away). So I decided to bid on them.

I got ALL of this for the price of £24.04 plus a little fuel! Some of it I know what it is and will either put to use or re-sell them on eBay. So I knew the eMac Box had a iMac G3 in Sage Green. Some of this stuff I haven't got a clue what they would be used for or a re-sale price. Anyway enough text here are the photos (Maybe a few replies).

I just bought a 1060 6gb ZOTAC AMP GTX GPU that I will be picking up tomorrow.

It was on a sale and should be a pretty decent upgrade from my 760 2GB.

I mostly decided to go for this one since my CPU, RAM and everything else is still good enough for what I do with my PC and next year I am planning on completely new rig anyway, so buying high end GPU right now does not really make sense.

The main reason why I did not just wait for the new rig is that my old 760 could only offer 120 hz on my 144 hz monitor, my soonTM to be bought 4k TV couldn't be run at 60 hz without lowering chroma sampling and that some games I play couldn't be run at even 120 hz with my current GPU.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow!

Looking to sell a load of it, like the power supplies and fans, should be able to make some money from it.

I finally went out and bought a new chair, the Moustache Ergonomic Office Gaming Chair with head/foot rest, got it on sale for $218 in total (Canadian rupees, include 15% sale taxes and free shipping, sale price was $190)

LfkFCma.jpg

There were cheaper models that were similar, but at the time of the sale, that one was actually the same price and the cheaper models and even included a footrest that the other models didn't. (in the picture above, the footrest is not fully under the chair, since I was using it just moments prior)

The cushion of the seat is over an inch thick and not made of a craptastic foam that would flatten within a day of use, so that's perfect for me as well. (That said, I'm still putting an extra cushion on top of it... for tailbone issues... )

I must say, I'm having fun doing this

oqxqB2T.gif

I watched the entire WAN show this morning while lying back on my chair, it's was great. (making full use of the extendable footrest as well)

Build quality is pretty good too, doesn't seem to be so fragile that it'd break within a month.

Here goes nothing.

Yes, I know the converter is probably some cheapy mediocre thing, but I'm recording broadcast television and VHS tapes, as long as it can do that competently I'm happy.
