The first step in getting that pre-build refurbished desktop computer I purchased into a slightly decent gaming system has begun, and at least with the integrated graphics now set to use 1GB of that RAM it can at least do gaming in low mode (I can pull around 100fps in world of tanks and a decent 30fps in world of warships) until I get the replacement power supply and graphics card at the end of the year.

Got a few stocked up here.

Needed some boots for work, the ones that had been given by the company completely f*ck my ankles up, and the comfort just took a nose dive after ~2 hours. These are certainly much better, though I haven't exactly had much time to try them out. At this rate, I'm on for a 7 day weekend.

Also got some more music related purchases going on that I'm waiting on and decided to throw them in a click & collect order, either because they were out of stock or they're just not out yet, so I'll pick these up whenever, it also gives me an excuse to browse some more stuff in the store while I'm there :D

Will probs pop back and post when I've got some of this stuff as well.

Also decided to pick up some 'work socks' and some shoes... Well, order... It's a risk (the shoes that is), but I have some faith since the company also offers size conversion to Japanese sizes, which, at least at face value, seem to have some sort of consistency given that it's a proper measurement rather than whatever clustf*ck we've got going on. I mean, my boots and my old shoes are the same size, boots are on the roomier side, my old shoes obviously don't fit anymore, and my new ones are half a size down (I'm told they run big), and if my measurements are right, they should fit.

A wild six-core i7 appears!

Swapped out my recently purchased Xeon for this because the Xeon was kinda bad for gaming. The rendering performance shouldn't have dropped too much with this swap.

I bought a toaster for a birthday present:

Yes, that's a Rammstein toaster...

I had no idea such a thing existed, nor did I know that it needed to exists. But here it is.

It also makes a Rammstein burn logo in your toast

I ended up getting another logitech M185 wireless mouse to replace the now dying (with a now buggy middle button) M185 I've had for a while, even though the laptop it's being used on is going into semi retirement in a few months time (it just means that I'll have a spare wireless mouse that actually works completely).

I just got this wireless charger for my Galaxy S7:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L3OUC7W/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It's just a slow-charger, but I only charge my phone at night when I sleep usually so it's perfect. The reasons I wanted to try out wireless charging are:

1. We've had charging ports break in the past, likely due to fatigue.

2. I use my phone in bed and I prefer to not play around with the wire.

3. And to fuss around with said wire is made more difficult because I have an Otter Box case I got with the phone at the Verizon store.

This is really cool technology, my only worry is that the phone+charger got kind of warm. Hope it's not a big deal.

Yeah, metal names, and especially black metal names (albums and band names, not to go in band members) can get pretty extreme.

I will argue that the strangest names are still found in grindcore and pornogrind.

My personal favorit being Fermented Piss of the Necrophile Wizard From Outer Space.

They hold nothing to most of the bands' song titles. My favorit being Intolitarian's Your Children Hung Disemboweled from their full length album.

You have to search far and wide to find anything as nihilistic and hateful as Intolitarian.

Here's my most recent purchases
