it's DAC i think. btw, how is yours running ? ( RX 480 ) Had mine thermal throttling like crazy, i think mine had a faulty fan ( Squeeky on every scenario )

runs great for me mine's not overheating it maxes out at 82 degrees celcius which is a bit tosty but not close enough for it to throttle also my case does have good airflow though with 3 intake case fans and 3 exhaust case fans. Heres what it looks like everything is the same as the current pc in the picture only difference is this picture was taken before I got my RX480 and I had my GTX 950 in the machine

Ouch, you sure you wont regret your decision? Usually a 3 year old phone is very sluggish and can barely take any pictures/play games, given the Nexus 5 snapdragon 800 that is.

Nah. It works fine.
I do not use it as my daily driver.

Stock android on that phone is NOT laggy, at all.

I can assure you that one. Now using 6.0 waiting for 7.0.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

Can I manually flash it??

Edit: this thing flies through 6.0 though. And 7.0 is just a minor update.

So I think if I manually flash my device to 7.0 it will work just fine.

Unless some samsung crap that cannot even hold on for 2 years. RIP. Shots fired.

Well I just inherited a Samsung RF711 recently in more or less near mint condtion a friend of mine just upgraded to a new HP top spec laptop just under £1000 ..he could not get Win 10 to work and he was just gonna throw it out the window so I took it ..lol Considering this laptop from new was £799

Anyway this Samsung laptop is around 4 years old now it had a 1Tb SATA HD but Samsung only fitted a shitty 5400rpm drive it was preforming realy badly and was bottle necking the laptops performance big time . I fitted a new Samsung EVO 850 SSD 120gb and this laptop boots Win10 in under 6 secs !!! Also fitted in new Kingston 2X 4GB Hyper memory and used new antec silver 7 compound . Its a Core i7 CPU 2.2GHZ base but will run most of the time at Turbo freq 3.1GHZ pretty powerful laptop . Cleaning out laptop fan ect using new paste temp now no higher than 62 deg most of the time . Also has Nivida 540M DDR3 graphics card so im seriously impressed with this thing.

I also swapped out my 5400 rpm drive in my macbook pro to a Samsung ssd.

I think that you just gave your laptop at least 3 years more life span.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

Last thing received? Crimping tools. I want to redo (and maybe upgrade) all the connections behind my desk, since i have to repaint the walls

Just bought a new microphone so I can beatbox into a proper mic. It is the Behringer Ultravoice XM8500. For £20 it is absolutely brilliant, I couldn't ask for more. The only problem is that I bought the wrong audio cable for it, it was 3.5mm male to XLR but that was also male so I now need to buy a female one after making a botch job with a few cables and some tape. Works well for what I did :)

My Rig:

Xeon E5 1680 V2 @ 4.5GHz - Asus Rampage IV Extreme X79 Mobo - 64GB DDR3 1600MHz - 8 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance Low Profile - CAS 10-10-10-27 - AMD Radeon RX 6700XT Sapphire Pulse 12GB - DeepCool E-Shield E-ATX Tempered Glass Case - 1 x 1TB Crucial P1 NVMe SSD - BeQuiet Straight Power 11 850W Gold+ Quad rail - Fractal Design Celsius S36 & 6 x 120mm silent fans - Lenovo KBBH21 - Corsair Glaive RGB Pro - Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit

Because of the better price-per-GB of storage. 3TB for $119.99 (Fry's Electronics) vs $169.99 (Amazon). Also sequential read/write performance is quite similar to their Black drives. I may lose a little bit of performance, but that's okay IMO because I got a 3TB drive rather than a 2TB drive for a similar price.

Yes! $209.99 at the time for the FTW version. Now it's like $300, so I managed to snag one when I could xD. All I need is the RAM and the monitor, and then I'm good to go. Mind you I do have upgrade plans in the works because the 1080 is still out of stock and overpriced to all hell >:(.
