I got this thing at the store because I wanted an SD card reader for transferring files from my Sony camcorder:

https://www.amazon.com/Sunpak-High-Speed-Card-Reader/dp/B00508HVKO?ie=UTF8&*Version*=1&*entries*=0

Seems like everything you can just buy at the store has S^&* ratings when you check online, but I didn't want to have to wait 2+ days for it. Atleast it works though so I'm thankful for that, but I'm super afraid to drop it or anything so I'm just going to take really good care of it and see how far it gets me. It also has half a dozen other readers for other cards/devices.

Y'know what I really wanted was a USB hub that had some of these card readers built in, but all those also had awful reviews on Amazon which really scares me away. Am I being too uneededly cautious when it comes to deciding based off user reviews?

I heard this was a really fun classic on the N64 so I had to grab it when I went to a local convention and here it is

I've merged this into the current thread, as this is where it belongs :)

Not unless you want a long discussion about this game specifically for some reason :P  If it's just a "hey look what I got" it goes here, and if it's a review, well, there's a section for those too :)

so yeah, this should be able to handle all my games pretty well on a single 1080P monitor i think :P

my old 290x just wasn't enough anymore sadly, with games like Rise of the Tomb Raider using up more than 4GB of VRAM already!

A good deal I presume?  What with 1070/1080 hype in full swing, I should hope so! :)

definitely! a few days before the 1070 got released people where basically giving them away, because they thought the 1070 would also be 400 euros here (oh how wrong they where..)

anyway, i'd like to think 350 euro's would be a pretty good deal for a good-as-new 980Ti!

Why?  PPC doesn't support anything after 10.5.  This is for a G5 running tiger.  Tried installing Linux each distro does something like this.  -.-

I thought PPC supported an early version of 10.6?

Nice!  I actually just ordered a 1070 last night :D Not cheap, but a good 100 to 200 dollars cheaper than the 980 tis stores are selling which is insane imo so I think it makes sense.  Plus, I got the highest clocked one available (G1 gaming) which also happened to be the cheapest for some reason o.O

Bought a used Sennheiser HD600 for my brother today, really good condition, and only used for three months. Paid less than $100 for it.

SCORE.
