50, on air I'm fine with for basic tasks to more extreme.  It's when you start getting closer to the max operating temp that you should worry when doing most tasks.  Something like a benchmark is always going to stress the hell out of a CPU or APU, though.  It doesn't matter what cooler you are using.  You will notice a ridiculous increase when stressing it like that.  I usually stay under 50, in most cases/not always, with my liquid cooling.  But, that's liquid.  I use to have a first gen dual core i5 in some Dell Vostro Desktop from like 6ish years ago.  It was my first desktop since like 2006ish.  I upgraded from a 2002 custom desktop to the final Alienware laptop with max customization before they were bought by Dell.  The thing cost my stepdad like 10500 after all the crap, Alienware's crap pricing, labor, and shipping.  I had, what they thought was epilepsy, so I couldn't drive/just bought my license two days ago after passing the test.

50C is actually my idle temp at the desktop xD Even with a H80i it can't handle it. Even with a thermal paste like Kryonaut.it still idles at 50 to 55. Under extreme load it get's pretty scary. Normal load temps are 85 to 90 and sometimes 92. Very close to tj max but it's an unrealistic load so I don't see those temps often.

I remember this super sexy Alienware laptop from the TV show Chuck. I think it was an Area 51 X17. All I know is that they managed to squeeze a Core 2 Extreme into a laptop and I was drooling over it.

Wow, I just got my 100 fruit salad sweets ... they were all arranged perfectly in neat tidy rows inside thick enough cardboard to not get shaken or messed up. And they taste amazing.

I didnt stop to take any pictures before shaking the bags into a mess.

The thing I had was literally a "desktop replacement". xD It was a beast of a laptop, and the last beast they put out before Dell fully took over a few months later.  That last part threw every warranty out the window.

Love the lid. Way better than the crap that they release today.

Ngl, I would legit buy an alienware if they had the same design that they had back then.

While technically not a purchase, as my aunt gave it to me, I still just got this. A Compaq 2286. It has some Cyrix 6x86 (don't know speed), but it is obviously a PMMX clone. Also came with 32MB of PC66 RAM and a 4GB (what looks to be) WD Caviar HDD. Pretty beastmode. :P

I upped it to a pair of 64MB PC133 sticks because it was a little slow with only 32MB.

Yeah. It's worth it tho. Look at the current line of alienware, generic laptops with the pricetag of an imac or something.

PS1:

- 5 Star Racing

PS2:

- FIFA 10 (which I have already and only bought for the good condition case and when I came home I saw it had the manual and disc for FIFA 04 in it as well..)

- Demo 30

- F1 2002

- Formula One 2002 (which is a different game! this one is produced by Sony and the other by EA Sports. And this one for some reason has the 'official review of Formula One 2001 on DVD... weird)

Nintendo DS:

- Break 'em All (which is an American import. Neat!)

- Drawn to Life

- Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes
