yes, a thermoprinter, to print postage (shipping fees here are increased every year - the post office recognized that they can do this even with the federal network agency always saying "yes" to it)... and - probably, i'll go crazy and label everything I can touch...

$_1.JPG

Everybody knows them, purchased 6 of them - not to wear, they fit in very, very specific needs for me and other family members... they usually break sooner or later, but they're cheap - so they can be purchased in far east (seen from germany ;D ) countries in a bunch...

and finally - some CAT 7 S/FTP with CAT6e RJ45 plugs - ethernet cables from my favourite shop for such things - the shop takes it seriously and checks every sold cable about an hour or so - so they can guarantee that cable works (or at least a return and warranty claim is nearly impossible)...

Then all routes to everything in my LAN is connected via CAT7 S/FTP...

You are allowed to have animated avatars on LTT, but - try to have images like "userbars" in the signature - no chance...

I just got my 15 foot DVI cable and sticker for my Dell. Yes, I bought a special edition sticker, even. Just because it matches. Next up for it is the Windows Vista sticker. :P

Loving my new PG279Q's

K95 RGB and a MX Master coming tomorrow.

How do you sit at that desk?  It looks like there is a box in the way of your feet and the desk is so low in the middle it would rub on your legs...

Looking on nVidia's website, they show the stats on the GTX 760. On most games, SLI was 75% to 100% Better than the single card. (I have a 760 right now.) I went with the dual 950s because two of those is actually quite comparable to the 970 and 980 (not the VRAM though. 2 gigs is enough for me right now.)  attachicon.giflineup.png

I try not to base things exclusively on that chart... I think they changed the test a little while back and it's better now as a result, but I'd check benchmarks specifically comparing the two cards being looked at, especially if you are involving SLI as well - every game is going to perform quite differently

I usually sit cross-legged on my chair. As for the box. It makes for a good footrest when I'm watching movies.

that explains how the box isn't an issue, but it makes me even more confused about the height... maybe it's just the perspective in the picture but it looks like there would not comfortably be room to sit like that on that chair under that desk as it is

I settled on some Sennheiser 205's. Not sure who Sennheiser were aiming these at, but whoever they are, they must not have normal heads because these f*ckers go beyond clamping your head. The cable is a mile long as well... Might be a good thing for some, for me? It goes beyond too long.

Do they sound good? Uhhhh... I guess? I'm not great at describing things as it is, never mind audio... That being said, listening to 'Can't Stop' by RHCP, it feels as if it's missing something in the highs. The lows? Ehhh... That's where a lot of 'taste' comes in really, they're not quite at my liking, but I like my headphones to sound a bit warm, not overpowering in the low end, but not too flat, sort of what Beyerdynamic generally tends to achieve with their headphones. Nothing a simple EQ change can't fix though.
I'd say they're good for the price, but given that these are (supposed to be) a slight improvement over the 201's, I'd probably say go for the 201's unless you've got a bit of extra cash floating around.

Comfort? Too early to say. My right ear got a bit achy after a bit of use but I'm wondering if that'll stop once the headphones loosen up a bit. But out of the box, they'll crush your skull. Feeling better now they've loosened up a bit, but still not amazing. Though it's still too early to tell tbh.

Added accessories - They're nice, you get a (1/4"?) screw on adapter and a faux-leather  (as far as I'm aware) pouch
Packaging is a bitch though...

They're only a temp set so... Idk, I'll probably replace them a month or two down the line. Needed something as my monitor's speakers just shit the bed when the GPU gets working.

072a53b35641.jpg

And... The big one...

Call me crazy, but I had some money to burn. I certainly think I'll get my money's worth out of this lot... Not to mention refunds are a thing...

There's a mix of games I actually want to play, and games I'm going to attempt to profit from through trading cards.

CRgzB.jpg

I also got 5 games for free when I purchased my steam wallet codes... Nothing amazing, just looks like they're trying to get rid of old stock

Operation... It has Sold Out Software on the box... That's something I have not seen on a case for about a decade. This game is fresh out of 2004. So old in fact, it threw this out at me... Might try and flog it on gumtree, see if anyone buys it.

mAwyw.jpg

Vacation Quest The Hawaiian Islands. Hidden object games... Well I guess it was free right? This one? Straight out of 2010.
Hidden Object Collection (3 games). More hidden object games? *sigh*... But they were free so... At a guess, it's probably from 2009/2010

Trust me, there wasn't anything decent to pick from anyway, only 4 games to choose from. The other one was a pool game, kinda pointless considering I already have Pool nation FX (or whatever it is) on steam.

Also bought a new xbox one wireless adapter but am returning it because their support for anything not windows 10 is not there yet.

I thought they just added support? I can use my Xboner controller wired on Windows 7/8/8.1 now.

I was talking to microft support. (Went about as well as expected) and they said the the wireless is for 10 only and they should have 7/8/8.1 support 3rd or 4th quarter of the year. I am guessing what they have been talking about is for wired support.

Ah, gotcha.

At least your adapter will get support. My dad bought me a wireless adapter for my 360 controller and it only works on Windows XP 32-bit. We were both kinda bummed.
