I really like those. I have a 2tb one though. Perfect to throw in a backpack with your laptop. Nice present.

I still have two "older" 3.5" external HDDs with an extra PSU. The are so bulky and the passport is so much easier to use.

So car I actually rather like this. Not the quietest drive or the fastest (I got about 100MB/s transferring a large file), but not bad since my mom got this for like $136 USD after tax. And the LED is annoying. I wish it would pulse in standby and not just abruptly turn on and off.

Something that I thought of when I got my new watch strap in. Who here gets a new piece of tech and can't wait to show it off? We've got a setup thread for every time you change your whole setup but I want to see all the keyboards and headsets and whatever else we all get. I'm expecting a few pip boys by the end of the night. 

 

Here is my new watch strap. $89 from Etsy. They added custom black lugs and a black buckle to match my black stainless steel watch. Fucking beautiful.

Killed me when apple went for the all aluminum bodies. Still think the glass and steel iPhones were the best designed phones. The new ones are too thin and too slippery.

to be fair I don't really care about looks, it's the price to performance/features ratio that got me here

I care as much about the feel of a phone as I do the performance. At this point, most phones are "fast enough" for me. It's not like I'm gaming on them or anything, thats why I have my desktop. So the next logical thing to think about is how it feels to actually use. And the naked iPhone 6, 6S and the plus equivalents are too damn slippery and uncomfortable to use naked. First iPhone I've had to use a case on.

Or, they could start bringing down prices. Imo, as long as it's comfortable to hold and has easy to use buttons it's as functional as it needs to be. Still, can't hurt that it looks nice. I'm not gonna complain ^^
