New GTX 980 and Antec HCG-750 PSU, upgrades from a GTX 960 and cs 450m. got the 980 for $375usd and the psu for $90-$70 if you count crappy rebates   :)   I couldn't be happier!!!  already sold my 960 for $170 on craigslist and the cs450m for 30$ to a friend.  Now if I can just offload my ssd and AIO that i put up for sale I'll be breaking about even and have a way more powerful rig like I should've made in the first place

Since my Bluestorm II 500W decided to kick the bucket after 7yrs of service, had to get a new PSU fast. A bit too much power for optimal efficency, but hey it was cheap.

snip

nice psu bro, just picked up the same one after researching psu's for hours on end

My LED strips from China arrived. Put one in my rig. Fuckers are BRIGHT.

snip

I totally forgot about these, I just got mine a few days ago too, pretty awesome i can finally see in my case!

Wow that's extremely lucky though.

I know right? I've gotten a few awesome things there over time. NERF guns, couple of PS2's, set of 2.1 Logitech Z4's (as you can see in the pic), brand new Dickies brand pants, Unit brand backpack, it's like being able to afford nice shit but at a total fraction of the price, and it helps out those in my area, which is cool by me.

It's kind of insane what some people/businesses donate I gotta say, a lot of surf & skate shops in the area will randomly mass donate brand new apparel to them too, they just had a guy donate a HEAP of Billabong, Volcom & similar brand gear last week or something, the generosity of people can be amazing at times.

My mom got this for me. A Latitude E4300 with a P9400, 2GB of RAM (which I made a classy ad for if I get the money to upgrade it), and my Momentus 5400.6 (it came with an 80GB Scorpio Blue that I put in my netbook). I plan on getting an OEM backlit keyboard, an SP920 SSD, obviously the RAM, and maybe a new screen and screen bezel if those are easy to replace. BTW, it came with Vista Business, but I "borrowed" a Windows 7 Professional key from my school a while back and used it on it.

Here is the little thing I bought, so simple yet so bloody handy. I may have to buy more since they're cheap and have them as spares. While I had the PC downstairs to clear out the dust I installed it quick but like a prick I didn't take into consideration the position of the PCB and the hard drives. They're quite close but luckily they don't touch lol

Since being able to have 3-pin fan headers I can now run these AF140's at full speed. Before they were barely half speed due to having only 2-pin splitters but as a result wouldn't move much air. Also £20 on each fan and they were sat doing nothing for almost 5 months., what a waste.
