Bought myself a used HP DC7800 with the following spec:

•Core 2 Duo E8300

•4GB DDR2 RAM

•250GB HDD (will swap to 120GB SSD since I'd be using external storage solutions)

•DVD-RW drive

I haven't gotten hold of it yet, will install my spare retail copy of 64bit Vista and will be using it purely for music and movies on my beside table. I have a spare 15" monitor that I can use. so it'd be a nice quiet 'HTPC' for my bedtime music and movies. For audio, I'd prolly be using a Fostex HPA4 Dac so I'd be able to play DSD tracks.....will be back with pics and such when I get it, quite stoked! :D  Best part is, the system cost me about 53USD but comes w/o OS......

Nice. :D

Speaking of which, I need to get some good audio software for my Dell so I can use it for music...

More of an impulse buy really,  however wanted blues but they're no longer being made which sucks didn't know about it until today...  I was going to get reds since that was my last switch in the last corsair keyboard I purchased which gave a satisfying click but too easy to actuate...  Browns are similar to the blues as it has the bump but also -5grams of force needed but I never noticed any difference.

I wished corsair had more MX Green switches, has the click but also the force I'm used to with keyboards.

Granted this was back in January but doesn't explain that every retailer besides third party on Amazon no longer carry it, I'm well aware that some MX RGB Blues are being made but they did come out and say it's being discontinued.   There's no news of "We're now producing RGB Blues again".

Also, the MX RGB Blues are NOT on the main corsair website, I'm more curious when the k95 NON RGB will come out. Cause I will be buying an MX Blue switch of that keyboard.

Assuming the stems and springs are of the same design you could pull the switches apart and swap them out.

Desktop -  i5 4670k, GTX 770, Maximums VI Hero, 2X Kingston Hyper X 3k in raid zero.

Laptop - Lenovo X230 Intel 535 480GB, 16GB Gskill memory, Classic Keyboard Mod, Triple USB 3.0 Express Card.

you would have to desolder the switch and depending on the model the LED first.

forgot about that bit, that would be time consuming. I was actually considering doing this to a black k70 before the rgb stuff was announced but then i found out that corsair boards use a non standard spacebar.

There's more involved with the RGB switches, if they were regular MX switches it'd take a few hours, I wouldn't even attempt it since it's backlit.   I did do it to my das keyboard though which a few keys are stuck and cleaning doesn't seem to fix that<.<

Wow, already see the charge from Corsair must be in the processing phase already...

Got my Denon AH-D7000 and it is a thing of beauty, looks great and sound awesome! ;) Took a pic of it outside, and the color of the cups look pretty close to what I see personally....

Took it inside and snap a shot of it under articial lighting and it simply looked washed out....

Heh, what can I say? I love 'em cans! :D  As for what's next, I have five ortho and eleven dynamic cans, not including my portable cans and IEM's, so my plate's getting kinda full. Still, I'd like to try an estat and am looking at a Koss ESP 950.....kinda curious as to how an estat sounds like. I'm in no rush to jump on estat though as I'm pretty happy with my collection of cans.

Next to new for $100 in Canada, was definitely a great price for what it is, and I felt like getting into smartwatches (this is actually the first watch of any kind I've ever bought)... let's see how this goes

Can you list all of your cans or post a pic of your collection? :)

I hang most of my cans on a hat stand, can put up to 9 cans, but I'm hoping to increase that to 12 as I'd ordered three of those headphone hangers you had linked in your review thread. Below is a pic I'd posted with the 'stock' hat stand, with some of my cans:

20150408_181338_zpsxhdl6smr.jpg

I intend to add a lower tier with the three headphone hangers, a couple of inches, or so, below where you see the Sennheisers are......should work though I suspect a little non-intrusive mod may be required.

I will, of course, post pics when those hangers come, I'll take a few pics of the hat stands with those hangers installed, and my cans of course. As for cans I have, here's the list in no particular order:

Sennheiser HD800

Sennheiser HD700

Sennheiser HD555 (with HD595 foam mod)

Denon AH-D7000

Denon AH-D2000

AT ATH-AD2000

Audeze LCD2.2 non-Fazor

MrSpeakers Alpha Dog

AKG K812

Grado GS1000i

Philips Fidelio X1

Beyerdynamic DT990/600

Fostex T50RP (stock, intend to mod.....but that'll take a while as I'm in the throes of a lazy rut  )

Been buying keyboards a lot lately...   Amazon sent 2 MX browns, 1 is going back for a refund or I'll keep it as a spare.

Also it shipped, so much for waiting 1-2 weeks...

so many headphones. Why not try and offload some of the lower end sennheiser cans seeing as at least based on what i have heard, they all have the same sound signiture but its just better executed higher up the line.

Nah, it's sorta like my collection of keyboards, it's fun to rotate them and each has its unique characteristics. When I have my higher end cans on, I tend to sit still and just get lost in the sound, with my lower end cans, I find myself just chilling and really not caring if I sleep with them on or not. With my higher end cans, I tend to be more careful, would really hate to be enjoying my HD800 on my couch, and waking up in the morning finding it in pieces.

Man, you sound like you're in the phase I was in a couple of years back, ended up with 30 keyboards.....let mine be a cautionary tale.

I think I'm done, I have 3 K95s (1 blue, and 2 brown) might grab a red just to have all switches, and a unicomp pc-122 ps/2 keyboard which arrives today.  The k95 mx blue arrives monday with more surge soda^^!

I also bought 3 cases of this yummy stuff.

- Snip

I had the 6+ which is a great phone on it's own, I did go back to android mainly as I love to tinker but I got the s6 edge mainly 1 it feels great in my hands, 2 I'm never far from a plug and if I'm not I have over 30 micro usb portable chargers so the whole removable battery thing doesn't bother me and also the sd card... I got micro usb sd card adapters which solves that problem.   I rather have the better feel in hands "personally" over  a sd card slot and removable battery.  They can fit a sd card slot in the edge or regular s6 by slightly increasing thickness but still having a great feel to it.

I'm Batman!
